  1. You may have a Swinburn-Henry; a commercial modification of the Martini-Henry action with a cocking/decoding lever instead of the cocking indicator. As well as being sold as sporting rifles, Swinburn-Henry carbines were acquired by yeomanry (volunteer cavalry) and colonial militia units. Some were later rebarreled to 303 and put into reserves alongside Martini-Enfields
