I don’t think 10 years is enough. Starmer should get 20, preferably on bread and water.

Locked cabinets and displays have been a feature in larger US stores for a year or so. Many factors involved, but “irregular” migrant gangs have played a huge part in places like NYC.
34
Unsolved or “we won’t touch that in case it upsets [insert] community”?
32
It’s a modern version of Where’s the Lady…

Labour will probably legislate that assisted termination will be invoked the days after we are eventually allowed to retire. No burden on the state, right? Probably give it a nice name like, oh, Carousel.

My bus journeys to and from work, which pass through two large council house estates, have proven interesting over the last five or so years. First, there were Romanians. Then persons of Arabian extraction. Recently, there’s been a massive increase in African nationals (some French speakers), but I’m starting to see Chinese entering the mix. Meanwhile, yes: I’m often the only white person on the bus.
16
Well, of course tax payers will have to work until they’re aged 71. Who else is going to financially support the millions of foreign nationals making future plans to travel to Britain in small boats?
16
Special act of parliament brought in to ensure that. Talk about corruption.
13
They prefer machetes to bottles.
11
There’s unpopular and then there’s hated. Huge difference.
11
Excuse me? A golden goodbye aka handshake? Those payments are only ever paid out to themselves by the very top tier of any industry.
11
But did you fill out a DEAD1 form in advance asking permission to cease work ahead of the agreed day, date and time?
11
That’s the same demand being made by the Alphabet People. Perhaps we should bring these two groups together in order for them to debate who is the biggest victim?

Easy access to sites they’ll want to recce for later razing.

Before WWII, Britain needed to import - I think it was - about a third of all food because farming could not produce sufficient for all. That’s why the Axis went after our shipping; to starve us out. The population is larger now, farmers are required to set aside more of their land to fight global warming, and the Liebour party wants to cover productive farmland in solar arrays. I hate to think how easy it’d be for our islands to be starved out these days.

My biggest concern is, and has been for some time, that Britain is effectively allowing both sides of foreign internecine conflicts to turn up and seek asylum from each other.
8
And that’s how certain incomers seized other countries during the 1970s onwards.
7
You forgot insufferable.
7
No idea how they got/are getting away with it 🤔 If my old department even showed a hint of overspending and warnings were ignored, the budget was “reviewed downwards” and staffing would be cut.
7
Woke cyclists can probably afford electric bicycles with a top speed of 28 mph. I eagerly await the two tier policing there when the speed cameras catch standard bicycle users going wheeeeee! down steep hills.
7
Things will be fixed. Unfortunately, it’ll be messy.

Perhaps Sir S is going to step down in favour of Tony Blair who will thereafter be referred to as Beloved Leader?

What percentage of “irregulars” are female? Just wondering… It’s just that, every time I encounter the now approved term “irregular”, my first go-to is “military” as in: a group of special combatants who act outside the regular armed forces, such as guerrillas, privateers or paramilitaries. Interesting choice of synonym for “illegal”, isn’t it?

Real wolves? Actual wolves? Cor!

I wonder if that’s how the citizens of Babel fed their waterfowl?
5
We have an adequate number of prisons. The problem is too many offenders of non-Brit ancestry who are being housed instead of extradited or… whatever. However, I am of the opinion that Estonia will undoubtedly be used for Sir S’s political prisoners.
5
The global majority is an underrepresented minority in the UK? That’s Orwellian logic.

It takes me anywhere between two and three and a half hours to get to and from work per day by public transport (four buses in total). If I had a car, that’d be fifteen to thirty minutes each way, depending on traffic; I know this as I sometimes resort to taxis. I have been forced to walk the distance on a few occasions, which took me over two hours each way. In hot weather, the buses turn into mobile saunas: in cold weather, they turn into fridges. When it rains, I get soaked walking to and from stops without shelters. Why would anyone give up their car? PS: I passed my driving test in 1985 but I’ve never been able to afford to buy a car, let alone run one.
5
That’s Narcissists for you. Any supply, good or bad, is welcome.
5
It’s the usual flip-flop. The sheeple dutifully performed as expected.
5
Grab a dictionary; look up the word “irregular” and consider the possible implications.

My home city has two flavours of gang, one a richer hue than the other. It’s possible they’re all young religious leaders training together, though.
4
There’s one main reason for overtime: not enough staff to cope with the workload.
4
This crew really have it in for the elderly, don’t they? The elderly who were born post-WWII and lived their childhood in austerity, worked hard for their pensions and their homes (bought or rented), and are now considered disposable because a lot of non-British men want their homes.
4
Nah, I’m not buying him a drink. He’s richer than me.
4
Remember: stereotypical RW thugs enjoy a drink and a smoke, and a burger or hotdog at a footie match.
4
Poll tax on top of reviewed Council Tax, too.
4
@spezzington conveniently, the day Trump takes office.
4
It’s $1000 in NYC and across many US cities. Although anyone caught is just told off and set free. No gaol spaces, see?
4
Oh, I get those plus ones informing me why I should swap my religion to a more peaceful one.
4
The Thugs were Kali devotees; the general UK population aren’t. So, yes: misinformation.
3
They will want to spread their forces out.
3
Any demographic breakdown? I suppose not, because it might be deemed against the public interest.
3
Walking, my dear. The London Underground will have to go.
3
Putting poster paint in security boxes makes me wonder whether such items have been thrown around by naughty adults who’d rather escape without paying for their weekly shop hem-hem. Or maybe poor parenting has resulted in more than one H&S mess?
3
Why not trace gasses first? They make up slightly more than the total amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Oxygen is 21% and nitrogen around 78%. Got to start small to think big!

As a first aider, I last month recommended a work colleague go to a walk-in centre for a check up (sudden leg pain, collapse resulting in brief period of unconsciousness). She rang her doctor’s surgery and was told local walk-ins were rammed, ditto A&E, so come in tomorrow morning for 8am and wait to see the locum. Luckily, no problems. My colleague’s high blood pressure medication was changed and she’s currently being monitored weekly. Now, if that had been a thrombosis…
