Har har Modi, Ghar ghar Modi. Glad to be living during his leadership of India.

WB being a non-BJP ruled state is provided 55.3% of it's money needed from center, whereas UP and MP ruled by BJP is only provided 52.1% and 53.4%, respectively. So, how does opposition say that center does not take care of the states?

Shekhar missed out on an important point that Zulfiqar's mother was Hindu Gujarati, who converted to Islam before her marriage to Zulfiqar's dad.

@PK-tt5kk Ends justify the means. If development is happening, I don't mind politically gimmickery.
48
Sharad Pawar under UPA did exactly what SG said. He used to increase MSP, procure wheat at MSP, accumulate it in bulk, and let it rot or dump in the ocean. Leaving no money for infrastructure development, defense purchases, etc.
43
That is the only freebies that India needs. Everyone benefits from it.
42
@praveenkumarg22 By the whole country, do you mean the congress party workers😂😅?
35
@nicksonpinto2074 But at what cost? It is consuming too much money for that. You cannot send bulk of your people to Gaalf and claim you are contributing. How many industries have Kerala setup for employment?
29
So clearly BJP-led states are performing better in both exams than non-BJP led states. So, who is to blame for the economic meltdown in India? It was UPA-I and II when in power and now in opposition.
28
@hphp7587 If it was a master blunder, then BJP would not be ruling India with simple majority for two terms, and set to go for the third term.
27
@victor256in You nailed it about the mann ki baat and Roosevelt's fireside chat. BINGO!!
26
Interesting that this book comes from more than 200 interviews, i.e., public testimony. Kashmir Files came out of over 700 interviews and yet some section of the media don't believe it to be true, terming that movie as a propaganda. What can I say?
24
@Thoughtflux What is the treatment? There was a sect called as "Charvaka," which is analogous to atheism in Abrahamic religion. There is not mention of a holy war on those Charvakas in Shastras. Just don't spread rumours and nonsense for shock value.
22
@AP-do6sv nailed it🤣🤣
22
So, according to OXFAM, bottom 50% of India has a per capita income of $2500.00, where the overall is $2100.00. I am wondering what kind of income distribution can possibly give rise to this arithmetic. Need to start using the BS meter.

Will Muashami cover the dilapidated condition of her home state of WB? Maybe she didn't grow up there, but she has roots in it. It would behoove print to mention how vacuous Mamata's tenure has been in industrial and infrastructure development in WB. Point is that Kolkata looks like a dump, traffic is so horrible. I wanted to meet my friend in Midnapore/Kharagpur (IIT), and he suggested that I meet him in Kolkata. Poor chap called it off as the traffic into the city was unbearable. Whereas the highway is good, the city planning is insufferable.
20
@libshastra During MVA they did vasooli not official tax collection. Good riddance MVA.
20
What can you expect a government run by paltu ram and gang? Bihar the only state that is lagging even after 9 yrs of Modi govt.😢
19
Easy! Mamata Banerjee and uncontrollable Muslim populace.
19
@user-ul1zz4cw2b I am sure we will be breathing the same quality of air when no infra developments took place. Air pollution while an existential problem doesn't need to be conflated with infra development. That's all I am saying.
19
So Modi was right. Making and selling pakoda is indeed a job. Even TMC supremo has embraced this idea.🤣😆
18
Modi govt. is all about Agile development.
18
@youthink5552 it looks like that. Because her three brothers remained Hindus and fled to India after partition. She kinda sounds like Sharmila Tagore.
17
@rohitshrivastava4742 things are very different between 1994 and now. Al qaeda, taliban, ISISI kind of organizations did not exist back then. Muslim radicalisation was not a thing back then. I can assure your that in 1994 kashmiri Pandits would not agree with you one bit.
16
Ajith ji, one sure shot kudos to Modi government is the security given in the past 7-8 years from terrorist activites. No one can question that.
16
@7:07 Look at WB at the bottom and Gujarat at the top. Mamata has ruled WB from time immemorial, across UPA and NDA. Still WB trails all major states when it comes to GSDP growth rate. Gujarat topping the list for the past decade makes me wonder that BJP is the best to rule that state. The so-called intellectuals of Bengal are able to do nothing for it. Hopefully India never takes what Bengal thinks seriously.
15
Good to hear again and again from SG that Modi govt. handled the economy during COVID much better than other sun continent countries. Again, i remember during UPA, inflation touching 15% in 2009 and at 12% during 2013-14, where ruppee fell by 20% in the first half of 2013 against dollar.
15
@FahadHasin You are alluding to cancel culture. I am not so sure if adopting cancel culture is good. You will see a lot more backlash on that.
14
Tell this to SC. You are more than welcome for petition.
14
Still you guys vote DMK/AIADMK. Shame on you. Vote for lotus. bring a change in rotting TN
13
@piyushgarggarg9131 Who told you that? In the year 2020, even before pandemic peaked, Delhi asked 5000 crore from Center, no money to pay salaries to teachers, doctors, etc. This says that Delhi was running on a razor thin budget, just waiting to fail.
13
How does BJP fall? Explain to me again. They are the ones who brought farm laws, which would have reduce the tax burden completely. But alas....
13
Yeah remember hyper inflation during the end of UPA-1 (15.7%) and again close to 12% during the end of UPA-2. No one, came so hard against P Chidambaram.
13
@surajsajeev1988 Yeah, Aftab poonawala lived peacefully with Shradda Walker😁🤣😂. An example for interfaith live-in relationships. There are numerous bollywood couples from Hindu and Muslim communities.
12
The anti-rich mentality is the most prevalent in West Bengal.
12
@pamtam1 Where are you pulling these numbers? Do you know that Amazon rose 222% during pandemic. I cannot image Adani's wealth increasing 8 times. Please provide sources.
12
@abhaypatel4292 I don't think it has anything to do with Kejriwal. This has all happened due to India getting more digitized, better and transparent taxation, and most importantly, the Production linked scheme from the center.
12
It showed the spine, but farmers said no to farm laws. Indians are spoilt over generations run by Congress and socialists. It requires a lot more than a strong spine. Shukla Ji. Got it!
11
@24:07 Chidambaram promised highways😆😁
11
Rajasthan cannot be a surprise. How do you think Gehlot is running the government? Only through freebies and reverting pension schemes. Congress cannot win without doling and populism.
11
SG failed to mention that the biggest different before and after 2014 is that more militants and less army personnel are being killed now than before. There is data on that. But this kind of targeted killing requires a different strategy. The resident KPs think that they were better off before than now, but that would be very selfish of them. Imagine if a rape victim goes and marries the rapist and pretends everything is hunky dory. That is what is happening. I am sure Modi govt. is thinking of coming with solution. India can collaborate with Israel and see what they can do about it.
11
@pushpindersingh1819 sikhs choking Delhi and using Khalistani influence from Canada was worrying Modi. That is why he took it back.
11
You said it, perfectly!
10
Can he tell how many countries are there in Africa? He should know it because he was doing his PhD dissertation on African studies.
10
Is ahankar only from Modi at the center? Or is it also from Kerala govt, which is uniquely struggling from COVID even now. What about the famous Kerala model?
10
@anujsethi7845 Where is Hindu Rashtra? India does not even want to associate with Hindusim. Also Guru Nanak Ji himself was a Hindu Khatri, so what is this craze about Khalistan? Just take a chill pill.
10
It is because of Hindu majority that there is secularism in India. Name one Muslim majority country with true secularism.
10
Shekhar ji you said it yourself, it is the pandemic that has surged the % subsidy to a high number. So why are we comparing the status quo with that of the UPA-II (2014-15). This comparison is bogus. You need to compare the lowest % of subsidy during Modi governtment with that of the UPA government. I am sure that Modi's 1% before pandemic was a remarkable job. By the end of next year, things will get better. You just want TRP ratings and to enthuse your fan base. Very stupid segment this was.
9
So glad of Kashmir Files that we now know the plight of Kashmiri Hindus. We now know Dulat was part of that problem.
9
@sansavd but why??? They do so much development. Kumaraswamy only marries actress half his age. He only does caste politics.
