If you keep eliminating every horse who ticks a hurdle, what are you going to get? Probably a plastic, focus-grouped candidate who ends up being a total zero, like John Kerry/John Edward's or Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan. Are you demanding more of that sort of BS?

@aaronrowell6943 I refused to take it, rendering myself personally non grata to Mayo and other big clinics/hospitals in my area. Got around it by working agency and signing a religious objection form so that I still am able to work with my small employer. Also seeing a lot of Filipino nurses and aides. They work hard, but the culture clash makes them difficult to supervise. As a nurse, I find it very hard to get timely results, now, dealing with pharmacies and other facilities. It's all a disorganized muddle. My husband just had cancer surgery and there was no leaving him to fend for himself at the busy, understaffed hospital, either.
