  1. One wonders if ANY decision made by elected officials renders them immune from later accountability? Suppose DeSantis decided to poison the water source of a colored community with, say, massive amounts of Arsenic, is he (and the officials carrying out the order) immune from prosecution as mass murderers? What DeathSantis is doing is eventually going to cause multiple and massive super-spreader events, potentially killing a lot of people. Is he to be allowed to walk away, scot-free? Personally, I think Death Row is to mild a punishment...
