You see, leak-current detectors are MANDATORY in all households in Europe, so if you are silly enough to take a plugged-in toaster with you into the bathtub, all you will get is a shock for a few milliseconds before the leak-current detector kicks out the mains, only enough to ensure that you will NEVER try it again!
