  16. Actually, the medical examiner also ruled that the burn pattern of the bullet hole on Martin’s shirt indicated that he was sitting upright hanging over Zimmerman at the time that he was shot. Just like neighbor Jon Goode’s testimony about the guy in the red shirt (Zimmerman) lying on the ground and the guy in the gray shirt (Martin) straddling him and beating him up.

When you think about it, the prosecution really took advantage of Rachel Jeantel.

Police officers have (at one point or another) pulled over other high-ranking government officials or even the wife or teenage son of their police chief. I doubt this officer thought or cared much about this woman asking for his card, he was carrying out a legal stop. At least he was doing his job, and not sleeping on duty in his cruiser.

Because he had been suspended from school, and his mom (who decided she didn't want to deal with him) shipped him north to Orlando. Meanwhile, his dad didn't even report him missing after lunch until the next day after his death.

  48. Dick Welts check your facts. Legal nonresidents have a hard enough time registering to vote in most states; in the few places that allow it they can only vote in LOCAL elections (school board, etc., ). Not NATIONAL elections -- stop listening to Faux News.

  49. Not true. Much of Florida's coastline is open to the public under the public trust doctrine (though many areas have nighttime curfews, vehicle parking restrictions etc.,) Florida is different from CA in this respect.
