  2. BTW, Rheinmetall didn't have the tooling nor the blueprints for the MG42, they had to reverse-engineer existing samples for both the MG3 and the MG42/59. Only the Zastava M53 had been made using original WWII German tooling, handed by the Soviets to the Jugoslavians.
