  2. That kind of safety worked pretty well with M1 Garand, M14 and BM59. The only real downside of the one of the Vektor in respect to that of those rifles is that those automatically warned the shooter of them being engaged (since the lever was very close to the trigger) while the Vektor one doesn't, but that's in common with any pistol safety out there.
