Putin will recruit the poor and ethnic minorities to fight leaving the upper class out of it so they won't push back against him. So many pundits were saying the Russians would not let this happen but here it is and nobody is going to stop him.

  15. The international community needs to allow Ukraine to attack the launch sites and air bases wherever they are, even if they are inside Russia. Calling Russia a terrorist state doesn't help Ukraine defend itself against drones and missles.

  20. After watching A LOT of videos coming out of Russia, I can understand why we get the wrong impression about Russia's economy. Moscow, St. Petersburg and a few select places are barely affected, but the rural areas and most regions are suffering in abject poverty.

  43.  @L110508  again with the threats, just leave it alone already. NATO is a defensive alliance and Putin knows it. He still has plenty of countries outside the alliance he can attack which will keep him busy enough. This just means Finland will be safe from Putin who is smart enough to know an attack on a NATO country will never succeed.
