  2. It’s now 7 years later and things are 10 times worse in Newcastle now. Most of the food banks have closed down. It’s dire.

  3. I think what’s happened here is that the benefits system has changed from being a leg up for a short period to a lifestyle choice. I think the system is coming to a natural end.
