  8. It performs very well - I've used it quite a bit. It's noticably snappier than Emacs, VSCode and others. Not sure if you'd notice the difference against VIM, but then it does have a much richer UI. As for the maintainability piece, you may be right, I cannot say.

  49. Great ideas. Particularly like the idea of storing code in a database instead of text. It would open up other possibilities too, besides that the visial representation (formating) can be adjusted by the user, you could even make the programming language multi-languagal (using chinese, arabic, cyrillic or any other writing system and language). And a versioning system integrated into the language and getting rid of built systems is an attractive feature too.
