  14. Afro Mexican here, Afro states are down south. I’m sure migrants are safer there for now 🤙🏾from cartel groups and others nationalist right anti immigrant groups. But yeah the bus driver was tipping them off stay safe 🙏🏾

I formerly traveled internationally quite a bit and am grieving that the world is now in the state that it is (not about Covid so much as the governmental reactions to it). For the time being my family is just taking advantage of as many beautiful national parks here in the US as possible, but I realize there are many in other countries who are not as free to even leave their homes because of their personal medical decisions. Thank you for talking about this subject and for your stance on it! I am unvaccinated (recently earned some great natural immunity, though!). High five from Oregon!

  32. Hi there1 Glad to see you back in Mexico. So the peso is strong. Thanks for the video. I have a friend from my church, who moved there, to the Puerto Vallarta area, on the Western pacific coast. He's in a smaller beach community of Bucerias. He sold his house here in Connecticut, and bought a small 3 bedroom house there. He drove his RV ,took his dog, and cats. He works on-line a Veterinary consultant. He also speaks fluent Spanish. I hope I can visit some day.

  41.  @TheYarbros  I am not surprised that you had to visit Bahia to learn of the Male rebellion. These kind of histories live on in African Diaspora societies, being transmitted through the ages from generation to generation. However, they are all downplayed in or omitted from "formal" curricula. Think of Mexico's Gaspar Yanga, Colombia's Benkos Bioho, Barbados's Bussa, Haiti's Abdaraya Toya and many more. In the US, think of the Seminole war in Florida as well as the Great Dismal swamp. These are all histories that would be inspirational to black people and I suspect that is the reason that they are not given wider exposure. Great video!

This history also started during slavery. (Louisiana Natives helped Blacks to escape slavery.) I’d be happy to host y’all. 😄
