  10. I went to a fleet six years ago. Best decision ever. I am hourly. My gross is lower but I make more per actual hour worked. At the dealer I worked 60 hours a week and grossed 20% more. I still work 60 hours a week. 40 at my day job and 20 on side work. Way better off.

  12. My 2020 Camry ruined my love of Toyota products. Nothing but excuses for all its problems. With the recent quality of Toyota products, my distrust of the company has doubled. If Toyota pulls its head out of its butt, I might think of taking another chance with their product again.

  15. Hopefully they make it right regarding the trailer hitch. Also the rearview mirror does go up and down like 3 notches. So kinda fancy for a mirror I thought. Still waiting for my hybrid xlt with the luxury package and sunroof. Been 13 months, 2 left to go. I drive 3000km per month with carpentry tools. This truck will pay off really. My van is $55 cad per day on gas. The maverick will be around $15-$20

  17. Bought a Mazda CX 5 premium plus last week at Mazda of Clearwater. Got a nice discount and overall good experience. Totally opposite experience than I was expecting from a dealership.

  18. Local Jeep dealer has 3 base Gladiators. No power windows, no power locks/keyless entry. Only options are the automatic, hard top, spray-in bedliner and a paint upcharge. All 3 cost $45k MSRP. You can buy a loaded Colorado for less then that.

  19. I almost bought a new ridgeline but decided to go with a Ranger. Ranger was cheaper even with the FX4 package at $42230 as of June 2024. The Ridgeline is a good option though.

  20. If German car companies are truly suffering, it’s only because of their reliability shortcomings. If they offered consistently reliable, luxurious, and non-gimmicky vehicles, they would sell. Lexus has no problem selling their luxury vehicles because although they are not the most exciting, they are some of the most reliable. Porsche has no problem selling their super expensive sports cars either. They are reasonably reliable, luxurious, and down right exciting to drive. They have a good formula going.

I bought the Black Edition, after looking at every midsize truck, being an owner of Dodge’s 1500 it was easy dropping down… love the truck, best ride out of most, the bed and the truck especially I use all the time just awesome, the under back seat is so useful when shopping and putting items under the seat… my only complaint is the ground clearance, not having a shift and just wish it was a bit more truckier looking .

  35. The BNPL repo's are in a different class than your standard repo being reported on by a big bank. The difference is with these BNPL nobody is taking a financial loss. There isn't negative equity involved. So while these are technically "repossessions" they don't really count. This is nothing like when a Uber driver gets his Telluride repossessed and he still owes 47K when the car is only worth 31K because of the high millage. Pretty sure the entire business plan of the BNPL lots is to sell and repo the same car several times. They are happy when you miss a payment.

  37. I bought an actual hardbody, new, 1991, base model, no AC , manual transmission, no radio, no back bumper, 7K. I have driven for over ten years, only replacement part, a fan belt. Those were the days, not today.

  40. I went to look for a car at a used car and wanted to pay about 6k and pay cash. The owner showed me a 98 Chrysler and 02 Chevy Cavalier, and told me that he didn't operate on any cash deals and showed me the gate.

  42. Good point on the driving feel , they feel substantial when you drive them. You got torque and economy with a nice interior for not a lot of money. Kinda funny how the Chinese carmakers are going that way instead of copying the japanese.

  47. I have an 08 ranger. I took out the vinyl armrest and just shived a little Titan cooler as an armrest with storage. Also put in a dorman heated seater under the vinyl seat. I love the truck! Great video!
