  2. I bought a new 2017 Mustang V-6. It had 300hp and would get 32mpg on the highway. It was a fantastic motor. Ford discontinued it in 2018. I traded it for a 2020 Mustang GT with the 5.0. I could never warm up to the plastic oil pan and drain plug on it. I traded it for a 2022 Dodge Charger Scatpack which had a metal oil pan. Some days I miss the 3.7 V-6 Mustang and wished I kept it.

  10. I drove every midsize truck on the market last month. It came down to a Canyon AT4 or a Frontier P4X. The turbo 4 wasn't what swayed me ultimately to the Frontier. It was the overwhelming number of issues current owners of those trucks are having. From bad windshield seals, denting roofs, camera modules going out, infotainment system dying randomly, no start because of bad updates, a/c units going out, it went on and on. Not saying the Nissan's are perfect, but the number and frequency of problems are much, much less. I do agree the Colorado / Canyon are the best looking midsizers out there, but I just couldn't pull the trigger on one.

  15. I was so fortunate to have purchased a Chevy Bolt EUV with much the same performance specs as this KIA, and several packages, $32K after taxes. I LOVE my Bolt EUV.

  16. Theres definitely something special about the Ranger's. Im blessed with much more expensive vehicle's but my 07 bought last year really makes me happy. Ive completely restored it and its just like new.

  18. IMO NADA is a criminal org who has colluded with every dealership to illegally suppress auto tech wages. they need to be investigated. Also here in FL auto nation owns most of the mercedes dealerships so you cant quit and get better wages somewhere else. IMO that is a monopoly.

Retired construction worker here , we had to be competitive when bidding out jobs , if your price was too high then you don't get the work but , if your realistic about what you NEED to make a profit then you stay busy all the time ! Refusing to lower prices on new vehicles realizing it could mean their demise tells me there's something else going on here ! It just makes absolutely no sense to operate a business in such a way ! Even grocery stores are smart enough to be competitive with each other.

  21. When I was a high school student in the 1970's, I worked at a full-service Standard Oil gas station when gas stations were still auto repair shops. A classmate of mine worked at the Shell station down the street. We would compare work stories. My boss was an honest guy. The owner of the Shell station not so much. My classmate would tell me how his boss would change oil on a car, wipe the oil filter clean with a grease rag and charge the customer for a new oil filter when in fact he never changed it. He charged a young lady with a VW Bug for winterization including anti freeze. VW Bugs were air cooled and did not have anti freeze. All sorts of shady deals like that.

  26. I drive the LA freeways every week. Over a total of 88 miles I see at least 20 vehicles with expired tags. Most of them are not old junky vehicles. Lots of Lexus, Mercedes, BMW etc. these people aren’t paying their license fees they surely aren’t paying their car payments. It’s bad.

  28. My local dealer (Canada) has 4 durangos with rebates ranging from 6700$ to 11k! Same with the grand wagoneer they slashed almost 10k, the only that have markups are those hybrid wrangler and the salesman hinted at it being "subject to haggling" 😂

  42. Depends on where you live. Where I live in Texas the police hate bicycles and will take any chance they get to ticket you. Seen another mugshot recently where a guy got arrested on sight for running a stop sign and riding on the left side of the road. Riding on sidewalks is also a ticket and so is not having a front white light and rear reflector. On top of that there's no bike lanes so you have to be smart not to get run over and then there's the high crime rate so you have to carry a loaded gun and be ready for the worst. Thinking about selling my ebike and maybe I'll start riding again when I move to a bike friendly state.

  45. Enjoyed the kwik review. Been wondering if some sound deadening insulation can be added to the underside of the hood and firewall. I hadve been concerned about the window sticker mileage ratings, but continue to hear that, when driven conaervatively, mpg is quite good. Thanks for the review.

  48. Keep an eye on the timing chain cover for leaks. I noticed oil up on the passenger side valve cover when I first purchased it NEW. Thought maybe AC leaking somehow. Degreased the engine bay and never saw it again. Fast forward from 2018 to 2022. I noticed more oil up on the passenger side valve cover. Took it to Toyota. Still under warranty. They replaced the gasket and told me that the sealant that they are giving is an upgrade......more expensive. Not sure why this is still a problem. Only had 23K miles on it. They had to drop the rack, oil pan, half shafts, intake, valve covers, and front of the motor (of course) to replace it. Made me about sick to see my bullet proof 4Runner disassembled!! I do not like others wrenching on my cars. I would suggest degreasing the engine and keep a check on it. If it goes, you want to make sure to catch it while under warranty. For the nose dive and body roll I put on Bilstein 5100's. Helped alot!!!!! Also, replaced the tires with Michelin Defenders. Mine is a 2018 SR5 Prem. with 4x4. So, pretty much the same as yours as far as the bones. This is my first 4Runner, had been wanting one for years!!! Wife always said it was too trucky. She likes this one. Other 4x4's we have had - 88 Bronco II, 1999 Explorer, 2001 Pathfinder 5MT SE, 2002 Pathfinder LE
