Son wanted new Tacoma just a week ago we went to dealer it had 17 Tacoma on lot and wouldn’t deal 54,000 for untested new vehicle told the guy we are not paying 6000 for dealer add ons guy said you have to FTC said we don’t so we got Nissan sv 2 days later with long bed and just about everything Toyota had for 36,000 out the door

  8. I bought a new 2023 SR5 premium. I paid MSRP of $45k. Had to pay sales tax, also. At the time my 4runner was the only one on the lot. Now they have about 10 on the lot.

  14. I traded my 2021 4Runner TRDORP for a 24 Subaru Outback Onyx XT. The 4Runner is awesome but too much of a gas hog. Who cares if it will need minimal repairs and will last forever? I can't afford $85 a week for fuel for the next 20 years. My Outback gets 31MPG highway and I couldn't be happier.

  21. They are all parked across the bays like that I assume because if they were parked properly the customer would see how impossible it is to park such a huge vehicle and get out of the door without denting it every single time. Totally impractical.

  24. For my purposes, I would choose the Ridgeline over a Tacoma. The backseat configuration and wider bed being some of the main reasons. When hauling lumber or misc stuff it would get tied down in the bed, so the shallower bedsides are not a big concern. Hope your Tacoma continues to give you great service. They are great trucks.

  25. Base or economy cars have improved dramatically in the last ten years, more than mid level and luxury models. I would take one IF it came in manual transmission with crank handle windows.

  29. Toyota's 2.4L Turbo on EVERY single Tacoma model/trim level was the absolute dumbest move I have ever seen. That alone, imo, is the biggest thing behind the sales success of the Nissan Frontier. I hope Nissan sent a card of thanks to Toyota! 😆

  30. I don't know what to think any more! I have always been a Ford man and had 2 Bronco's in the past and am currently driving an Escape. But at today's prices, and perceived quality issues, I'm now looking at Mazda and Subaru.

  31. Hope the issue gets resolved in a timely manner without the dealership screwing you around more than needs to be. I have a Lariat Hybrid on order that I'm having second thoughts about. I also have a similar Ranger (2003 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport) to yours. It's my daily driver and it's been very dependable. The only issue I have with it is the gas mileage. That's why I ordered a hybrid Maverick. The gas prices here in California are astronomical. Anyways, best of luck with your issues.   33. These were made by ford to retail starting at 20k and with most upgrades they come to 26k at most but these stupid dealerships have a mark up of 40-50k on lease which I think is ridiculous and straight up disgustful

  34. Ford proved there is a huge market for small fwd-based trucks. Honda just keeps missing the mark. The Ridgeline isn't a bad truck but it has never been what truck buyers want.

  36. So true. All these vehicles are way overcharged for what they are and the dubious quality and durability they offer. Add to that the disgraceful service of dealerships, specially Ford dealerships, and you have the whole picture. I am not sure if dealerships are going out of business here in Canada at the same pace than in the U.S., but I see lots of Ford, Dodge and Chevy trucks piling up on dealerships yards for months and months.

  40. The Bronco from the 60-70's was complete garbage. Underpowered, rust bucket, and top heavy. I have no reason to believe that todays Bronco is any better.

  42. front lower air dam/valance/lower facia is so they can get a few more MPGs on the spec sheet. GM says it unclips in less than 5mins so you can put on their $700 front and mid skid plates package.

  46. First of all, great comparison! I was so close to getting an Expedition, then I backed out. I test droved Expedition three times, one thing that I didn't like was the visibility, I expected more visibility from this truck based SUV. somehow the visibilty it's just not there. seems like the A pillar on the expedtion its more slanted, that might be the reason.Pros: the horizontal screen with phyciall buttons and kobs, thats a big plus, way better than the vertical one. It's also more intergrated, rather than a tablet that coming out of the dash board. The Twin-turbo has so much power. cargo room, I like it how it can fold completelly flat. rear cargo glass opens seperatlly. Cons: visibility wasn't that good, the second row seat it's too slanted as well. Driver and passenger head rest doesn't adjust front and back.(only the Platinum and King ranch does). No foot actived cargo door opening feature. Blue cruise should be on Limited trim and up as a buying option not only the highest trim. Nissan seems like has better visibility, and second row seat more confortable. I wish they could make the screen more intergrated. rather than a tablet. Also cargo area, (make it flat, when the seats are fold down). Twin-turbo V6 would be nice if there is an option for Nissan, that could be more fuel efficient. There are rummors about both vehicel getting redesigned in 2024 or 2025. Looking forward to see both SUVs.

  49. Very nice man. Looks just like mine did when I bought it. I have a 22 TRD ORP. Installed RSG Rocksliders, LFD ruggedized cross bars, OME 3" lift, SPC Upper Control Arms, 285/70/17 K02 Tires. I already have 15,000 miles and its taken me and my wife to all of our surrounding states. We've done quite a bit of off roading with it and it is way more capable than I am as a driver. I love the 5th gen 4runners man. You made a great choice.
