  4. Thank you for stating that the Indo Aryan migration was not peaceful. I'm an Anthropologist working in Indonesia studying ancient Majapahhit artifacts. Everytime I mention the Indo-Aryan invasion, Indians and Indian descendants get pissed at me and say I'm wrong. "There was no invasion/ conquering" even though the data shows otherwise. It's incredibly frustrating. Also, there was absolutely a caste system before the Indo Aryan invasion. You can see the evidence for this in Mohenjo-Daro, as well in Majapahhit artifacts. Ancient India and their primary religion "Hinduism" is extremely interesting to me. Random fact about me: I actually converted to Advaita Vedanta Hinduism after being a Christian my entire life. I'm not particularly religious in the sense of "Gods" but Adveita teaches that all humans are one with each other and the universe (Monism) It is more spiritualist than religious. I had an experience that is too long to post about onto this already long comment, but that moment is what made me convert. My respect and admiration for Indians and Hinduism is immense and what propelled me into my career path. SN: (I'm a white guy from the US) Great video.

  7. Dude first off, you are extremely intelligent. Ive watched many of your videos and every single one of them I agree with. Im 32 now and I had to teach myself over the years to think more rationally because I’ve watched emotion run many peoples lives including me and my wife. it takes effort to accept the Facts and not what the “Popular Belief” is on a subject. Popular belief is pretty much like pop music, it changes with the tide and contradicts itself every step of the way. It just takes effort and rational thinking to step out of that bubble and look at the whole picture instead of just the tiny fragment they want us to believe.

Tom is quite literally me, I would go point for point saying how much I relate to each part of his life, but it's basically everything, except for divorced parents, debt, and not being American. The only way the suffering stopped was when I became a Christian (Orthodox). It's impossible to live a life without the truth. Relativism is unbearable. I am a completely different person now. I would say, the solution to this is to go back to Christ. If you just can't believe in God, tell me under this comment and I will pray for you. God bless you all. Good luck everyone.

  25. Incredibly interesting video - almost no one is talking about these topics together. It's useful to point out that the Gnostics attribute the knowledge-giving role to Lucifer, not Satan, which are distinct religious figures. Lucifer, Prometheus, and Christ were all similarly punished in their respective religious "origin stories" for distributing some form of "forbidden knowledge" to the plebs. Christ was crucified, Prometheus was chained to a rock and had his liver eaten forever, and Lucifer was consigned to manage Hell. Christ told people to be altruistic and self-sacrificing, and how to heal themselves or cleanse their bodies or "temples" of "demons" (aka diseases); Prometheus gave mankind the "gift of fire" (aka the origin of most technologies in general); and Lucifer told people they should fight for their selfish desires and use pride/self-interest as sources of motivating "emotional energy." You could call all three of these religious figures "light bringers," as some odd offshoots of Gnosticism and the other Judeo-Christian religions do. I think some balance of the three is probably best, since any extreme way of following one of the three makes for an unbalanced society. Refusing to use any form of technology doesn't seem appealing, refusing to be kind to anyone and mistreating your health is a bad idea, and pretending you can live without any shred of pride or self-interest will destroy your mental health. I think it's all about striking a balance between following the various forms of knowledge these foundational Western religious figures, or "light bringers," suffered to distribute.

It is becoming worse since Islam became strong after 19th century. Women ride horses, own property, widows are not burned and can marry a second time, women is respected in society (because woman on a horse is not worse than a man on a horse). Basically, you, a strong man, insult your pride by attacking or humiliating a weak woman. So the manliest thing is to be cruel with your enemies, but respectful to women around you.

I don't know even how to start ,what to address... this video is something else, let me make a disclaimer I am from eastern Europe(Serbia) so this video is somewhat relatable but in no means completely, probably less then what would your average viewer find it, and I'm a bit older (33) but still feeling quite young, either because of being immature or general spirit of the time. The point is I feel the notion of this video and, having seen many of your videos , it was this particular one that just hit me differently .It just feels so real and disturbing ,that I hope ,whoever finds himself in the position of Tom can put his shit together and fight against this adversity they found themselves in. btw I believe you could write a great script for a movie based on this video .

I am French and I must say this has the ring of truth - as bitter as it tastes sometimes -, you are a friend indeed I had already realized how broken are EU politics, and its explanation by a civilizational decline - that is perfectly laid out - makes a lot of sense. Of course on one hand as a European you can be demoralized since it looks like some unstoppable tectonic movement. But on the other hand, understanding the roots of our situation should also help us define a path to straighten our course. Unless I am mistaken, integrating the immigrated populations should be our priority. And this entails that we find a proposal that will appeal to the immigrants while not reproducing the social and religious schemes that led them to flee their origin country. Such a political proposal - for instance centered around family values - could in turn contribute to culturally integrate european countries.
