  1. On your meter touch the leads together (and hold them together) then push the "relative delta" button and that will zero it out. It stores existing reading (a delta) and resets display to zero.   12. Electronic technician here - mind if I give ya' a soldering tip? When you go to solder a connection, place the tip of the iron under the connection to heat it up (it helps to apply a little solder to the tip first); then push the solder in from the top so it flows into the connection. That way you won't be just pushing the solder onto the connection.

It's almost like he provided a partial bottle to see if you passed the test. LOL The sad thing about it, is that with his nit--picking, he's actually doing himself a major disservice by preventing you from fixing his car correctly. The results of his negligence could result in more expensive repairs in the future, or even bodily harm to himself or others. The irony is that it's obvious he wasn't taking that great of care of his car.

  37. Your initial problem was caused when you tested the solenoid and left it in the closed position. Then you forced the lever onto the open position as you were installing it. The solenoid comes in the open position as you have to have to door open to install it. When you forced the door down, you in effect pushed the lever back into the closed position. This is similar to 4x4 transfer case actuators that also come pre set to a position. Nice video.

Since you will be getting more of these vehicles in the future, maybe it might be a good idea for your shop to invest in one heavy duty lift that can handle the weight of all the equipment in the back of these vans.. but I doubt they'll go for it cuz you'll find a way to get the job done anyway.

I would say yes, Eric O, Erik the Car Guy, Chris Fix, and many others are some of the originators of YouTube auto repair videos, however, you have made your own channel that is unique to them. There is a reason you have grown so quickly. You are doing a great job not only with the videos but the commentary. Keep up the great work and don't let anyone here in the comments get you down.
