I'm Brazilian so I can't sign, but I'll try to spread the message! Breaks my heart to see the future of humanity be thrown into the trash by stupid bureaucracy
15
What if the reason we haven’t seen it yet is because of the time difference? It may take 3-13 years for it to complete its orbit around the star but does that mean it’s the same 3-13 years for us? Sorry if I’m wrong it’s just a theory
15
380 million miles away, 2000 days to get there and then act like stupid greedy humans anyway? Yep, sounds about right.
15
or it has those massive rings but it's a rogue planet?
15
Thanks
15
Wow this is actually a very good and well-made video and I quite enjoyed it, you earned a sub 👍
14
The universe never ceases to surprise me with these kinds of things. Super Saturns, brown dwarfs, planet forming. This is all very interesting to me, theoretical or not.
13
It's a small detail but I want to point out that at 7:06 it says there will be a radio telescope on the far side of the moon and it will always have very dark skies. This is not true, just because we can't see it doesn't mean it's dark. Other than that, this is a really cool video. Great job!

I'm your 110th subscriber, monke together strong
13
How sad! This was my favorite exoplanet. 😢
12
I love your videos, I always learn something interesting!! Thank you for your work!
12
Their weather: ☢️☢️☢️
12
Wouldn’t Jupiter’s spot either be infinitely tiny or just gone by then?
12
Do you like cats? Could there be space cats?
11
gee. I wish I had the skills to help in any meaningful way. I wish the best of luck to all who participate in this!
11
Copy that. I’ll be contacting my Local senator and house representative. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend the VIPER rover!
11
Can’t wait for part 2!
11
This series is so underrated
11
3:46 whoever’s in charge of recruiting people to work in that base: Alright, so you know how when you look at a pressure cooker all you can think about is “god I wish that were me”?
11
Short orbits => close orbits => not ice giants. This isn't a mystery. You're looking for snowballs in Hell.
10
“multiple leviathan class lifeforms detected are you sure what you are doing is worth it”
10
Fascinating story, great for lore base for entire games and books series!
10
This channel is awesome! I love it, keep it up bossman
10
This should be called "The Bloodless War", since there weren't any causalties, it's about as peaceful as a war can get.
10
Best channel eva!
10
I like how it says "Earth was humiliated" yet the war was a two against one and the former side was against Earth.
9
couldn't it be a rogue gas gaint, either since the start or was kicked out? sure it'll be unlikey for the planet to hold it rings in either event but withthe discover of the perfect ressonece system, it wouldn't be impossable
9
Finally, an astronomy topic I've never heard of. Great video; exoplanets and their living conditions (or lack thereof) are always fascinating to hear about.
9
This is incredibly disappointing. It was my favorite exoplanet.
9
Apparently a lot of Jupiter like planets are being blowtorched by their stars
9
Damn, Mercury really got hit with "failed". Even a lawsuit to come with it too.
9
I don't know why this got so (relatively) few views, I think it's some of your best work and I really appreciated it.
9
Happy 4th of July!

@Kyplanet893 i recommended taking better care of Earth before even entertaining anything else.
8
mining a small amount of the moon’s mass wouldn’t change tidal forces all that much
8
You are so underrated man! u earned a sub keep up the great work.
8
Fantastic as usual; thank you! One of the most informative channels about this subject yet.
8
interesting, thanks for sharing.

IMO the least realistic part of this is a mars colony being economically profitable. You’d have to be assembling and fuelling your own rockets on-site then sending them back to earth filled completely with gold and platinum (and running a Martian Disneyland) to even make a dent in how much it’d cost to get all of that equipment there in the first place. At which point you’d probably start tanking the prices of said precious metals. Also, it seems odd that it took so long after the initial manned mars landing to get to Phobos and Deimos. They have next to no gravity so they’re pretty easy targets for exploration. If you have a vehicle that can get humans to mars, you can go to Phobos and Deimos too.
8
Fun fact! Olympus mons has a very gradual slope, even at the steepest areas. You wouldn’t really be able to tell that you were climbing a mountain if you were on it.
8
Such an awesome video!
8
One of the most unrealistic parts of this is China and the US becoming allies.
7
this ongoing series is outstanding ..fascinating to see what a possible future colonization could be like
7
You should have put the first colony in the Hellas basin, which has the lowest radiation levels on the planet, and plenty of lava tubes for even more protection. Not to mention salty water is possible there.
7
I like the narration instead of captioning. Good work!
7
Do you have any papers for the claim that it might be a rogue brown dwarf? I’ve searched for it but found nothing. Research about this system seems to have stopped years ago, excluding those studies that propose alternative orbits right after the expected orbit is found not to match the latest observations.
7
great Video , exciting find to be sure ! , let,s hope they learn more
7
Underrated channel
7
Wow this is something cool to learn
7
Fascinating! I watch a lot of astronomy content, but have never heard of this class before. I just subscribed. Great content!
