I like your video, bro.

I have green, grey and gold eyes.

Something interesting i recently read about, seems to show through genetics that the Scoti/Gaels seemed to have settled in the West of Scotland first and then migrated into Ireland. Instead of the reverse as previously though. Which makes sense logically as it'd be easier to cross from mainland Europe into Britain then into Ireland, than from mainland Europe into Ireland. Also the possible Greek origins of "Scoti" and "Scotland" from the Greek "Skotos" meaning "dark/gloom". May not have much evidence to support it, but it certainly fits with how little sunlight we get compared to the rest of the British isles.

Hey man, Great channel! Im loving the content about Scythian-"Celtic" connection at the moment! It's interesting how much of the ancient understanding of ourselves in Britain is turning out to have some truth to it. (It's something I'm exploring myself btw) Do you think the political controversy linked with 19th-century British-Israelism has affected the exploration of these areas within academia?

I was born in england, lived in ireland now isle of man and have scottish parents, i have 94% british genes (mutt breed but mostly scottish english with a splash of irish zero welsh) 6% germanic

Every white guy watching this: Wait, you mean there's no reliable way to tell if I am a Viking? I already gave my money to the app!
4
I did the same test and got 17% Eastern Europe the rest British Isles. And quite a lot of (distant) Norwegian cousins.
4
Clan MacDonald here too (and laughed at the start with the Campbell bit). Though looking at my history it's gone from Mc to Mac a few times so it's hard to tell which it'd be for sure.
4
Great Video. One of my Idols is 80% British TMDWU!
4
I have Hazel, my father too, all European for centuries.
4
Scotti or Skythae... potatoe, potátoe

Great channel. Liked and subscribed. Top accent! 🏴

Blond hair, blue/green eyes and red facial hair - seems that I like having a bit of everything :P

With the treachery of Scone, it reminds me of the story how Hengist and Horsa of the Saxons murdered the British nobility under Vortigern during a feast by hiding their daggers in their shoes.

Interesting. Recent feeds in Ancestry & DNA hypothesis tend to still split hairs due to current details and a lot more tendencies previously thought now much more than over just a decade ago. In another update actually on cave dwellers, I couldn't help myself by thinking... Now, this should be a truer version of real Cavemen!!😂

I found out that I have Scandinavian ancestry by DNA test, mostly Norwegian. Most of my ancestry is Scottish (Highlands) - I am American, so I didn't know where my bloodlines came from. My haplogroup is H1h, supposedly. I would like to know more on that. I get told constantly that I look "Russian", even by Russians. I recently found out that the Highlanders came originally from Russia. 😊 thank you for the interesting video. GOD Bless. ♥️💚♥️

I always find it ironic that a lot of highland clans(including my own)were jacobites when the stuart royalty were doing their best to destroy the whole way of life.
4
George Washington got his looks from his mother.
4
green eyes from Galician, spain.
4
A 51 year old red head with green eyes here, still got my colour :) I'm a Swede
4
❤thank You from Norway..

My mother went to find out what her family tartan was. Apparently the Adamsons were cattle thieves who raided English farms across the border but were linked to either the Macintosh or Macleod.
4
Out of the 15,000 soldiers that King Edward brought to Scotland about 10,000 were battle hardend Welsh archers and foot soldiers. When he was talking about Edward dealing with a potential rebellion he was talking about the Welsh. The Welsh were considering joining the Scots at one point.

My regions are Scottish Highlands, northwest England, Northern Ireland and a small amount of Sweden. I'm 6'9 with brownish auburn hair and hazel eyes
4
Canada, Scotland on Steroids ... and maple syrup !

This makes me wonder if in France they learn more about the Gauls, the Franks or the Romans, as well as in culture and traditions that remains.
4
Very interesting.
4

4
I have hazel eyes. I am mixed Native American and Scottish decent.

4
Thank you for the lesson. I am always looking forward to the next one.
4
My dad had clear light blue, mom's were hazel. They had 3 kids my sister has dad's blue and my brother and I have brown. However both my sons have blue eyes at birth but are hazel now as adults.
4
Interesting information. I think it would be worthwhile to research the genetic history of the region by mapping predominant haplogroups.
4
Can we believe everything Bede said though?
4
I am a Norwegian with British DNA, found out after taking DNA test.
4
I love my green eyes. Both parents have brown eyes, one brothers has blue eyes, one brother has brown eyes, and my sister have green. Very strange. 🤷🏼♀️

4
The ones I can think of at the moment are Ross, Guinn, & Stewart/Stuart. Those are just off the top of my head. 😊 Edit: American here Western NC. ✌🏻

4
Great Channel bro!
4
Was there a Caldwell clan? I would live to hear about it. Understand I have relatives from Scotland 😊❤
4
My DNA came back as 53% Irish and 47% English, I am English, my dad came from Ireland and that side of the DNA is centered around Clare, Kerry, Galway and Cork, my mum is from Hampshire and my DNA reflects that with the English side centered around Hampshire, Sussex and the South East, there was no other strands of DNA in there which considering how much of a melting pot England has been was a bit of a surprise.
4
Yeah the Scotti were what the Romans called Irish raiders
4
I think he was a traitor
