  11. So much goodness in this video! Jam packed from start to finish. I really liked that you showed close-ups of the specimens as you talked about them. Makes it much easier to learn what they look like. Also loved the survey camera down the main shaft. Those timbers looked perfect. I've explored a lot of mines, but that would be a Holy Grail explore!

  12. Somewhere out there is the most exciting driftmine on social media. Caves of mystery, huge nuggets, prehistoric worms unknown to modern science..... you don't see it much.... in fact hardly at all..... but it's out there. Maybe Jeff can find it!

  18. I looked up George Boscovich and I found him right away. He’s buried there in Tonopah where he he lived his whole life. He was born in 1918 and died in 1969.

  26. “Gly”: Jeff, can you offer me a quick explanation as to how the gold your finding was disseminated throughout the Caliche your in. Is the gold deposited similar to what you’d find in bench gravels via a nearby source vein or is the process something entirely different? I’ve never mined in Caliche and I’ve always wondered if the Au transport mechanism is the same. Thanks!

  33. Hi Jeff. I dug out foundations under existing homes in Seattle for 25 years. The best excavation tool I ever used in tight places was a shopvav. Bobcat makes a medium sized sewer vacuum that is trailer mounted. It is available with a remote start. You could move an incredible amount of dirt with that!

  50. I think that the fenced off area is a guzzler ( water for wildlife) roof. Collecting water and sending it into a cistern. Maybe BLM maybe a water source for mining?
