Jeff u are a hero to some. Not just because of the gold . Your integrity shines through. Keep on living the dream you have always dreamed
79
You are a encyclopedia of great knowledge Jeff. Thanks for being so thorough and patient explaining what you know.
79
I like jeff. He talks like I'm half deaf and half retarded when he is saying something I need to remember.
79
Jeff I had not seen this before.. Your Dad was a beast climbing up there. I can see where you get a lot of your drive. Very informative and well done history of that area! 👍👍..... As I just heard about your loss I offer My condolences to you and your family... Your Dad was a great man, obviously.
78
The knocking don’t bother me, keep digging!that confined space bothers me more 😅
77
That was a fitting tribute, Jeff. My face got wet. He sounds like he was a hell of a man and lived an enviable life. I'll bet that he is proud of you.
77
The wife earned that gold we will be upset if she doesn’t get to keep it! She was so excited and worked so hard to bring us content. That was the real treasure! Thank you guys! Please suprise her and let her keep that nugget and make it special. I think I speak for the majority! Congratulations to her! What a find!
76
Looks like a marijuana grow operation 😂 thanks Jeff
75
he could be totally making up all these rock names and I'd never know the difference
75
No more bags of pay dirt, you can sell bags of saw dust for whole lot more! 🤣🤣
75
Any father would be proud to have you as a son, cheers to your pops! Also, love the field geology lessons!
74
Till this day I dont understand how Jeff doesnt have his own show. The education and character he brings is better than GoldRush.
74
Jeff I am happy that you mentioned Gly he does a wonderful job showing us the old works,I never miss a video of his or yours. You guys are great!
73
I'm not sure what Jeff does best 🤔 education or entertainment 😂. He always gets me laughing. All the best to you all. Thanks Jeff
73
You know, the look on her face, the excitement she showed, let her keep that nugget! The disappointment knowing she has to give that huge nugget away was tough to watch. Let her keep that nugget Jeff. I won't tell. I think she earned that nugget fair and square!
73
That building is highly unusual. No roads to it. No obvious parking pad. Fully finished with a large fence and communication tower. Obviously well funded. Very, very strange. Would love to know more about it.
73
Let’s be honest, your biggest find was your lovely wife Lila , didn’t realise she had her own channel, off to check that out now. Keep up the great work 👍
73
I am from Africa Zambia. Everything you have taught me, I have started using it and OMG 😱, I just discovered plenty of gold in my land. All these years, nobody knew that we have plenty of gold in our land. Thank you Jeff. I will soon starting making videos of gold detecting. I have purchased gpx 6000 which I will start using next week when it arrives.
72
I’m a FedEx driver. And one of my customers out of Nogal got one of your patreon prizes. Small world.
72
That mine needs to be turned into a museum some how. What a fantastic snapshot of an old mine and infrastructure. Especially the machine shop and compressor room. It's got to be preserved. Fantastic!
71
Slim is on the other side messing with you cuz that's what the bone man does
70
The spinning of the shovel starting at 2:30 is actually really cool. I have no idea how you can make a living off of this kind of stuff, or what this guy is actually like in person, but this is a really fun video series
70
Jeff...Im guessing that pipe feeds fresh air to those giant worms living underground 🤣😂🤣😂
69
How’s your back feeling??? That’s some hard work right there boy!!!!!🍺✅✅
69
If i keep watching all jeffs videos im going to have an unofficial degree. 😅
69
It’s practically impossible to stop this video once you start. I feel like he’s talking to me.
68
I have thanked you in the past for all of your knowledge. I did not know you were in the Army. Thank you for your service.
68
Just turned 64, a disabled vet, someday I would like to come out to your weekend getaway & find some gold.
68
@6:31 - Tilt your head and mica goes from shiny to gunmetal grey. That's how you know it isn't gold. When you have gold, the shine follows your gaze. It shiny from all angles.
67
the most fascinating thing about Jeff is tat he runs a business that makes enough money to hire other workers and yet still has a passion to make these videos. I really appreciate that Jeff. we would never get to see this kind of thing if you did not have youtube as a hobby.
67
Forget chasing tommyknockers I only like mommyknockers.
67

66
I would never tell a soul. That's right up there with telling people your favorite fishing spot.
66
Hey that looked fun ! Chigg was the first guy I saw on YouTube that inspired me to start metal Detecting for coins back when I lived in PA , thanks for sharing this fun day Jeff !
66
I don't know who's more dedicated somebody to haul that ladder up that mountain or Jeff putting all that Christmas stuff down in his drift mine😂
66
After having watch your vids for like 5-6 years… pretty much the only thing I’m interested in is this mine. Finding nuggets never gets old
66
Did any notice the tiny bown object in the back between the 1st and 2nd cabins running?😮
66
This is how Many times he said son or boys 👇
66
I observed in life, after age 5 all we want from life, is to get back to the kindergarten. He made it.
65
So, you’re just going to ignore the fact that you found a washer below the level you expect to find dinosaur bones? No big deal, a T-Rex probably dropped it and couldn’t pick it up with its short arms.
65
This is neat! I’m 64 when I was 20 I worked as an assay and production chemist in a gold refinery. We used the Crow Cyanation process. We used a cement mixer truck as our reaction vessel. We would load it up with electronic scrape with gold on it plus some hot water and a few cups of potassium cyanide. Then very very carefully we would add a tiny amount of concentrated hydrogen peroxide. Then we would filter the fluid out and salt the fluid with powdered zinc dust. This would remove the gold from the cyanide and form a precipitate of gold, copper, silver, nickel and lead. We would then in a fume hood and wearing gas masks dissolve the precipitate into aquaregia then add sodium sulphite to burn off the nitric oxide and a substantially more pure gold would precipitate out. The AR step was repeated twice more to get to five 9’s fine gold to pour into bars. Very exciting job. Very VERY dangerous. I’m retired now and work as a quant on wall street. Much safer but I get out gold pan or snipe when I can.

“Gly”: I just finished rappelling down a vertical shaft containing nearly 30 shaft sets. The amount of time and work that goes into making those is just tremendous not to mention all the blasting and waste rock removal. I enjoy you showing your audience how these are made because it offers perspective as to just how hard the miners worked when dropping in vertical shafts. Your mine construction videos are my most favorite Jeff, keep up the good work!
64
After all these years I was losing track, great job of putting it all together. Dam you have done a lot of work! Good luck and keep finding that gold.
64
The jogging skeleton was the best.
