  1. This is a bighorn sheep catch basin for water. THe huge camo thing is the catch, its slopped down to the flat area which houses pools or water tanks. Then its piped down lower to a natural pool in the creek bed. Not sure exactly where it is but there are dozens of these throughout the mountains in arizona.

  28. My favorite treasure hunt is with my grandson, 6 at the time. He found my metal detector. “What’s this?” I showed him how it works. “Let’s hunt for pirate treasure Papaw.” I made us pirate hats out of newspaper and a hook for his hand. We went in search in my property with a home built in 42’. About 30 minutes into our hunt he was getting bored. “Ain’t no treasure here.” The detector hit on something. We dug in the hard ground and about 6” down we found a 1927 Standing Liberty quarter.

  33. I watched twenty videos of Jeff Williams gold hunting, this is the best. He made one mistake when he said you can spend winters exploring Google Earth on a computer. The area he explores average 70 degrees F in the winter and +100 F in the summer. Come to Nevada deserts in the winter and see hundreds of miles of accesible roads in the desert in perfect weather. Visit in the summer and feel a few dregrees away from world record heat.

  35. When I first started prospecting. I used to pan so slow I was scared of losing gold it would take 20 min to do a pan. Bit I watched your older videos on panning and after that I can run through a Garrett super sluice in 3 minutes or less. You are a great teacher and we as prospectors owe you a big THANK YOU. ..   49. Regarding barns being red: Long ago farmers would seal their wood barns with Linseed oil, they would mix in Iron Oxide to prevent mold and rot, this why all those old old barns are still red as they rot into the earth.
