  4. I watched like 10 interviews of Robert Greene and this is by far my favorite one. It flowed organically and the interviewer obviously did his homework and interacted with the material beforehand. I can't say the same for other interviews. Bravo, Jordan!

  5. I was stationed 13 miles from the DMZ 2015-16 and it always haunted me how much different life was just minutes north from me. Charles you are so brave and I congratulate you on your citizenship! Such a powerful story that needs to be heard by everyone.

  13. Thank you so much for this podcast. I have wondered why there isn't more emphasis placed on the victim's network of family and friends. Most of use, of course, cannot imagine the catastrophe that will flow through those connections forever. I personally think the offender deserves the death penalty, and within a short time, not after years and years or possibly forever. Why is BTK alive today? Why was his daughter able to write a book about her great relationship with her father? These people are evil. Full stop.

The fact that you joke with him, and he seems to embrace it is refreshing. It’s funny that you read all the daily laws at once. It’s information overload and you still came out looking real smart.   19. Great interview.I’ve had “The P.Game Instructional Guide” for at least 15 years and it’s good to hear from the man who wrote it. This interview gave me more insight on that book and a couple others he wrote 👍👍👍

  20. I haven't traveled very much outside the US but I follow a lot of stories from others, read autobiographies, etc.... This is one of the most insanely dystopian stories I've heard, comparable only to the most horrifying nightmares. It might make the stories from CCP China's Uyghur camps (the one dude telling how he was raped as punishment for not listening) seem like 'positive stories'...and that is a hard thing to grasp. Searching for human poo to meet a poo 'quota' bcuz you don't manufacture fertilizer, and a blackmarket for the wealthy (still subjected to the insane quota) to buy the poo of others... that is so utterly dystopian that I'm not sure dystopia actually fully conveys the extent of just how bad it is in N. Korea. Like, if somebody made a sci-fi dystopian story where the gov literally just tosses everybody who can't work anymore into a literal giant meatgrinder, and then offered that to the people alive as food, or fed it to the pigs...that would be on par with just how royally f$^ked up things are there. Thanks for the story, I can't even imagine how hard it is to talk about this sort of stuff.

I very much appreciate the host's doing through research, asking humanly insightful questions, and adding a structure to it that helps audiences make sense of this big 'adventure'. While i don't want to criticize other interviewers, it was greatly relieving that the host delved i to the depth, and very humanly relevant questions, rather than do a surperficial interview with a spectacle oriented focus, leaving an empty feeling and rendition of the great work. Many many thanks. This was like an oasis of depth and good care, in a desert otherwise too full of light spectacle ;)

  35. One interesting thing about the fall of large cultures and civilizations is they don't actually happen suddenly...it is usually over an entire lifetime or even as much as 200 years. Slow decay of successive tragedies because the system is no longer growing or trying to adhere to any collective goal. The United States of America is on the EXACT same political trajectory of the Roman Republic, we should be transitioning to a populist strongman sometime in the next few decades.

It's incredibly surreal to sit here and look at the beautiful futuristic picture behind Matt and after listening to all of this and the first thing that comes to mind is the term Putting lipstick on a pig. Just goes to show that no matter how beautiful something looks on the outside it can still be a dystopian nightmare for real. Makes me still feel really blessed to have grown up in the United States. Looking at all that is affecting todays youth and society, I would not trade growing up when I did being born in 1970. To be able to experience free play and the ability to explore this beautiful country throughout my lifetime. No the US is not perfect and sadly seems to be more and more gravitating towards more authoritarian policies. Yet it's no wonder so many are still trying to come hear.

First off, I will say this,..... anyone that hears the interviewer tell his age, but had no idea of what the content would be, would say, this “kid” has no business being the same room with NDT, much less interviewing him... but I must say!!!! This has got to be one of THE BEST interviews I have seen recently with NDT! This interviewer smartly did his research, smartly used his research during the interview, and then shut up and listened to the answers that spun off into other interesting discussion that veered off into other great conversation! Not to mention, the humor that was kind of comic relief of such heavy topics! In this interview, you would think the interviewer is at least in his 50’s or 60’s! There are people out there that ruin interviews because they try to appear smarter than the guy they are interviewing! Completely ruins it! This is such a well done perfectly executed interview with a great interviewer and a great guest! The part I hated the most about this interview was when the interview ended! Well done! Perfectly done!
