  5. Wow, learned a lot of interesting things from this video. 1. More details about Earheart's disappearance than just "she vanished without a trace." And 2. A whole lot more about old radio communication and equipment. I never understood what that loop antenna was for or the field with the 5 large antennas in it. Didn't know those were primarily for navigation. Very interesting. Thank you.

You show everyone watching this video that there isn't always a clear-cut path to getting where you want to go, especially when you have a dream outside of the normal. And that sometimes the indirect path can really lead to some great changes in our lives, including gaining a family. As for the Survivor Bias...I think there's also the fact that many people ultimately stop trying as well. It's the same thing as "your keys are always in the last place you look" because then you stop looking. Those who make it partially do so because they kept trying until they did. And that was a brilliant proposal!

Hi, it is because there is more steel on the rail hence, the rail absorbs more heat at the top allowing it to cool faster at the top. yes the bottom would be exposed longer, but the volume of steel at the top (the steel rails not the liquid) is higher hence, it can absorb more heat from the liquid allowing it to cool faster relative to the bottom part. Hope that made sense!

This one was well done for the novelist and can hopefully help those who read about avalanche fatalities have a better understanding to how the snow pack develops and behaves under certain criteria.Great awareness video!

I was on my bike the other day with a tailwind (a welcome event for a cyclist) and was thinking about my speed relative to the wind and if once I reached or exceeded the speed of the tailwind does it still contribute to my net watts and make it easier for me to maintain that speed or is it no longer a factor? I also considered the fact that even if I'm exceeding the speed of the tailwind it would still contribute to a slower headwind since I'd be traveling at say 20mph with a 15mph tailwind, meaning I'm only pedaling through the wind at 5mph.
