  2. Lots of interesting people took part in that battle as commanders. On the Bolshevik side you have Trotsky, Stalin, Tukhachevsky and Budionny. On the Polish side you have Piłsudski, two great generals: Rozwadowski (according to some it was he who won the battle) and the cane-walking Haller of the Blue Army fame and future marshall and PM of the WWII-era: Rydz-Śmigły and Sikorski. Also Weygand as the commander of the French expedition.
