  6. Vincent, there are SO many great lessons in this vid. You did a fantastic job. There are three key things that people who watch this vid need to take away from it though. 1. DONā€™T just quit your job unless you have something else lined up and/or able to afford to struggle. (In my world, there is no failure. You never fail, you learn from your struggles.). 2. I LOVE your quote of, ā€œIf you donā€™t build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs.ā€ I am not sure if that is your quote or someone else said it, but either way, it is SO true!! 3. I also love your quote of, ā€œIf you donā€™t have a purpose in life, you will be a part of someone elseā€™s purpose.ā€ Again, if your direct quote, well said. I do think we have to be careful that we donā€™t give the impression that you should be a single island doing your own thing. In fact we should be an individual tooth on the cog of life that first ensures your purpose brings meaning and value to the overall cog in order for the cog to work effectively. Without all the individual teeth on that cog, the cog will not work efficiently. You can still be and do your own thing, but you still need others to remain purposeful. Love the vid! GREAT message.

  7. I love your story. Storytelling is one of the best teaching mechanisms because it reaches people on a personal level. My family is from the Dominican Republic and we came to NYC. I didnā€™t speak English when I started kindergarten so I had to learn English on top of being the one who was outcasted so i didnā€™t have genuine friends. Growing up in a single mother home, moving from hood to hood in Brooklyn, financial struggles were an understatement. Between doing bottle deposits for laundry money, shoplifting school supplies, amongst other things, poverty is one of my biggest traumas and is my motivator. Weā€™re about the same age, Vincent. I want to be a millionaire by 30. Thank you for sharing your story. I completely relate to you when you said you were always in control even as a kid. I also had to do things like translate and figure things out for most people around me. I didnā€™t have much figuring out done for me. So I always had to make my own initiative, my own navigating, and my own discovering.

  8. Great video, after leaving my home province 7 years ago to pursue my career I have made it to what I thought would be the top. Grinding away for another 25 doesnā€™t seem like the right approach to living a life full of happiness. Financial freedom was always something I thought would bring happiness, but at what cost? As I approach my 30th birthday Iā€™m beginning to see that spending time with loved ones and bing able to stop and enjoy the world around me is what brings me happiness.

Itā€™s one of the few areas of our life that we can model mathematically and predict how things will turn out in the long run. If we just commit to a certain strategy and stay with it, success is practically guaranteed!

  10. Hubby and I have been investing in his 401k (he makes more than me) maxing out his employer contribution since we were 27 and now we are almost 50 with a million dollars. The money I made was our spending money and I even got to stay home for 7 years to raise our kids until they started school. We were frugal but spent on important things like family vacations and weekend activities with the kids. So it definitely is important to start young and max out the employer match amount.

  15. It's a vicious cycle and the longer you spend stressing and wondering how to make more money the less time you have to go make more money. A lot of people don't have the money to start a side hustle (I hate that term but it's the best way to describe it) or invest in anything that's viable enough for a real return. From my experience living in poverty ( I make 13k a year right now) has been get all of the necessities put aside and then hope for the best after that's taken care of. Look for a better job and stay at the one you have until that's established. Something that just barely gets you enough to invest in other things like a dividend portfolio or a course that'll get you certified in something that'll allow a pay increase. There are ways out but you explained perfectly how difficult that really is.

  27. Vincent, please do an updated strategy for car buying. Used car prices have gone out of control. You also have to add in the life of a 10-year-old car that is only, maybe, three or four thousand less than a new car. I think the wisdom about used cars being a better deal has really, really changed since the pandemic.

  32. Index funds are safe but you will definitely have to be extremely patient to get your return. Its not a quick fix at all but a long term financial decision that you'll benefit off of. I still don't quite get this whole thing, but you explained it in a way that's manageable. Teaching really is your forte.

  33. My zits started going away when I stopped cleansing so hard and started focusing on hydration. I used to wash twice a day with foaming cleanser, but I switched to a non foaming cleanser at night and just splashing with water in the morning. Then a medium lotion morning and night. I also added the ordinary hyaluronic acid but itā€™s not necessary (just makes my skin look nicer). After about a month of that (and getting used to skin that felt less squeaky clean), my skin became less oily, the little bumps went away, and the big zits went away. I think as teenagers weā€™re told we get zits because we donā€™t cleanse well enough, so we cleanse too hard, leading to zitsā€¦ not always the case, but itā€™s worth a try!

  37. Luckily I never had that problem, I worked 37.5 relaxed hours per day, never an hour of overtime. I could have made more in the private sector but I would never trade more money for my time, time is always way more valuable than money.

As someone who used to be a full-time YouTuber and now has a full-time job with YouTube on the side, I can say this is definitely a much more better way to live for meā€¦ but I donā€™t think people will really understand how hard it is to do YouTube full time until they go through it themselves.

I have two NFTā€™s (one as a gift, and the other is part of the Disneyā€™s Mickey Mouse collection) and Ive chimed in on different Discord servers on the LT utility of these projects and when I ask the question in every single server about How those unrealistic promises these projects claim for LT hodlers can be actually fulfilled, I get hit with the good old response ā€œyou just have to trust usā€ every TIME. So do I see value in current NFTā€™s ? No. But I do see it as a lucrative business when it comes to flipping NFTā€™s when you get your hands on hyped projects on the pre sale and selling them for fat profit margins after the public mint release. I do also agree with everything you said in this video and that they are in early stages at the moment of what could become very valuable for good purpose!
