I love this video. You’re so sincere, inspiring and courageous. There will be struggles and doubts along your way, but I’m very sure that you will make it! I feel super inspired.

It's easy to feel financially jealous of others, especially in the age of social media where everyone seems to be living their best life. But it's important to remember that everyone's financial journey is different and comparison is not always helpful. Instead, focus on your own goals and work towards them at your own pace. Remember that financial success is a marathon, not a sprint!

That first guy. Simply amazing!!

I want to start Investing in the stock market but I dont have a job, hopefully this will help... Thanks dude

This is really great, easy to digest for such complicated issue

I love pineapple on pizza and I don't care what anyone says about it. I really appreciate all the research you do and your insight and explanations are really top tier. Keep up the good work.

It’s similar with pricing, they all usually end with .99 or .95. That HD TV cost 999.99 vs 1000.00 will get people’s psychology mindset towards yes. Great video! 👍

When you step off the plantation (Corporate America) all entrepreneurs go through a phycological and emotional shift that is more akin to a roller coaster with more doubts and lows than highs for a time. This is often not talked about and I applaud you for circling back and discussing it. Escaping the plantation has always been scary, exhilarating, dangerous, stressful, and absolutely rewarding. Thank you for covering this part of the escape!

I have an income of middle, middle class and net worth between upper lower and upper upper class. We've always lived within our means and I regularly funded my 401k and IRA.

It's time to quit for me. Even though I am working with 4 of the biggest tech firms and make more than I have ever made working remotely after the military I know that I value freedom above all else and want more automation in my life. Can't wait to do life insurance broker consulting so I can have zero cap on income potential.

@MichaelOblitey that’s the thing. I don’t even know what I’m passionate about anymore (aside from taking care of my own kids, but it’s impossible for me to be a stay at home mom right now due to finances) and in between taking care of my family and working two jobs, it’s hard to spare some time to figure out what my passion is. But I’ll get there. Me working hard right now is a part of my exit plan. I’m straightening up my finances right now so that I can free up a lot of time in the future without any worries :)

if we view art in a transactional sense, ofcourse you're trying to sell something off to the next person as it appreciates in value. But in physical art, you actually get some tangible. With NFTs, you get digital media. It's the same as buying a movie. Except you would be the sole owner of a limited edition of the movie. If you want to justify spending millions of dollars on a digital asset like that, you're just out of your mind. You're way too bored because you're way too rich and don't know what to do with your money.

This is fantastic! The absolute best explanation of the whole AMC saga I’ve ever seen. Thanks for this!
33
I love how you go beyond “here’s how to make money” and really dive to what you need to think about, what motivates you and how to realistically reach your goals. Very well done and I hope I can articulate my ideas the way you do one day! Love your channel 👏🏽

For a new trader you make it easier to understand things. Thank you

This video hits home because I grew up poor! For (u.s.a standards). It took me YEARS to find my mentors and change my life, but the possibility are out there especially if you live and work in a major city. One thing for sure I always thought once I have money I would buy expensive shit and FUCK THAT! I own a rental car company at 33 along with other businesses, and trust me it's nice when you buy 10 cars at once, but emotionally nothing changes, my 209k miles beat up 2 door honda still takes me to the same place a 2021 Audi S7 does, and I soor realize material items dont mean SHIT! I still have more fun just meeting up with my friends smoking weed and playing video games. It's cool when you're friends are true! No matter how much money or success I acquire I'll still be the same, living with my parents as a millionaire in the making🤭🤭

THIS right here is a high quality video! Good stuff man keep it up!

“There is no best time… you can take the jump when you can afford to drown.” Mate, this is one of the most practical motivational videos I’ve seen on YouTube! Rooted in logical thought (about needing to save enough money to try!!) and as a British born Chinese - I 100% resonate with your childhood experience of your father. Came across this at quite an important juncture in my life right now - Very encouraging. Already liked and subscribed to your channel. We share a similar mindset towards living life with a purpose and desire to help those less fortunate. Am likewise also a ‘you tuber’ but… just not that big hahaha all the best with your journey Vincent and thank you for being so honest and personal, even the outburst with your mom. Looking forward to finding out much more on what exactly you’re trying to do now.
32
Vincent, you are very good at explaining difficult subjects in your videos. This video needs to be shared to all Gen Z

Every time I hear No. 5, it hits hard. That's why I always go let's say to a new job/opportunity with the mentality of learning, not just for the paycheck.
32
Great video. Ive been investing and living below my means since the 1980's. I still remember my trading commission fee at using the touchtone phone at 35.99. More if you spoke to a live person. Continue to invest, ignore the everyday headlines and be patient. I fully retired at 57 and financially free. Applying for SS at 70 since I don't need it and it will grow at 8%, in theory.
32
Love the videos! Storytelling is amazing and editing is on point! 🙌🏻

This guy is one of the only few guys on youtube who actually gives me hope in myself
32
This video somehow helped me decide against buying more crap I don't need nor really want lol. Thanks for sharing this video, everything in it is illuminating. I can also relate to your experience growing up and your parent's english not being the best so certain situations weren't so pleasant. Fear certainly stops a lot of people from doing the things they really want to do, we must unlearn that fear as I feel that it is taught.

"I now by my clothes from Walmart instead of dollar tree" 🤣🤣🤣 I'm sorry but that was funny 😂😂😂
32
You don't need to take your work too seriously, it's just a job. Try to pick up a passion or hobby thru arts, culture and/or recreational experiences, it will serve as distraction of your work and make balance of your life..💪👏

question of the day answer: im trying to buy a parrot 😂

Whatever the market does… I will be DCA’ing. If and when it dips, I have reserves. Wishing everyone success in their endeavors, let’s get it 💪🏼

Incredible video. I really recommend viewers to read the book “barbarians at the gates”, speaks on how P/E destroyed great businesses during the late 70’s and early 80’s
31
strong millenial moment with the Eminem rapping

As one of the oldest Millennials (age 40), I think Gen Z (age 13-24) is getting even more screwed than we have been. They deserve a video on how to get started financially since they’re just starting to graduate college.
31
I am an entrepreneur and I am INFJ :) I've been working in creative industries for 10 years...my creativity comes out when I am alone. So the balance is 20% outside my creative box aka home and 80% being concentrated and isolated 😌

Chen, i got emotional watching this video. 7 years ago I moved far away from my family for career. I thought work was priority. Thankfully, the old I got, the more i realized living for money is only for fools. I moved back to State where my families are. I make less than what I used to, cost of living and traffic are higher here, BUT i’m so much happier spending quality time with my family. Making extra money in exchange for what really matters in life, Not worth it at all.
31
Nice work on this video! I'm learning a lot from your speaking style and how you engage the audience. It's really helpful for my channel growth
31
Your editing skills have improved EXPONENTIALLY 👏🏼 Love your channel
31
Great video! I was expecting you to talk more about how cryptocurrencies will play into the demise of the US dollar although you did touch on the blockchain technology. A great video would be on how you view cryptocurrencies in particular Bitcoin to play out in the coming years😁
31
"Electric Repairers" Are Electricians or Linemen And I'm a Union Electrician and I make 90k a year I wish I joined the trade unions straight out of high school
31
I agree with most of them. My biggest money mistake was spending on sh*t too. I live comfortably today but I cringe at how little I saved in my youth. Great video Vince!

I quit two weeks ago. I have been working part time on ebay and YouTube for a while. The job I worked at was very dead-end and toxic. It finally came to a head when the other team caught covid and the manager asked us to help and I volunteered. Then when I came in I was told that I wasn't doing something right that I had been doing for 6 years. Now I'm full time on ebay and so far doing well. So don't be afraid try, if you fail try again.

Vincent, I follow about two dozen personal finance creators, and you really have one of my favorite channels. Thank you. Your vibe and style and teaching method is incredibly helpful. Thank you.

Love the topic on stoicism. I think one of the key takeaways is that if you can 10x yourself, naturally your financials will follow and 10x or whatever it is. The focus is not on more money but perhaps just more living your life fully and learning. Then, the choices you make should naturally enable you to wealth.
30
I want to do a reaction video to this one. I became financially free (starting from homelessness) and then on a low income. If I can do it and retire early anyone can.
30
That's crazy how our salaries are going down and housing is going up. It's too bad we couldn't have salary increases and housing was more affordable. 😂.
30
I would love to know about housing market. That will be a thriller of a topic.
30
Man you have been putting out such fire content lately 🔥

Corporations are fighting like hell to go back to the same rat race pre-covid. They will cut your salary if you work remotely. And expected to go back to the office, even tho remote working studies have proven more productive. I have been working since I was 14 and I am 51 now, no savings, no home. This is what happens when you are a SF native and pushed out thanks to gentrification. I moved to Portland, $15,000+ cut in pay, but would never go back to CA. Quality of life is a lot better here (and people way nicer). The people that quit their jobs are wealthy white men predominately. The service industries and others that pay minimum and low wages and have always taken advantage of people. No matter what industry you are in, you are still being lowballed and threatened because everyone is replaceable.
29
I hope more and more young folks watch this. Life is short and you never know when it'll end. Fuck everyone else's dreams and fulfill yours first.
