  2. It's extremely hard to explain this phenomenon, fair play on a fantastic job. I was raised Pentecostal and these churches have only grown in number and ferocity in Nigeria. As a child I gravitated towards the idea of becoming a minister. I realised later in life it was similar to how in the hood dope boys are the rock stars. They're just pushing a more potent product.

  5. This is so relatable. I wouldn't say that I've been hooked on self help purchases, frankly I'm a tight ass. I refuse to spend money on something I believe can be done for free, and there in lay the issue. I rode my own ass hard to burnout and achieved nothing and its a difficult habit to break. Like you with acting, I was in the exact same boat with my art career, and refused to accept the fact that it's okay to change, it's okay to give up on a dream if it's no longer your dream. Carrying on regardless, getting into debt, dreading waking up is mental suicide. Let me tell you, I quit art and self employment and now loving life, discovering new unexpected skills. Totally glad I tried it, but boy am I relieved of the burden that came with my "dream". This is just a normal and healthy part of growing. Thanks for such an inspiring video.

  12. I was a part of Dan Lok's High Ticket Closer program. It's true, it's a cult. I have never seen a man having so much power over people. Believe me, we were VERY loyal. I have never seen so many people being loyal to a man/group. I have never seen a man build such a loyal following and community. The problem is, that they (= Team Dan Lok) always make you feel like you are missing out if you do not upgrade. That you will be successful if you upgrade and buy everything from Dan Lok. And these are not small amounts. I'm talking about thousands of dollars each time.

  15. I won't go into details but I had to find out the hard way that something was way off with the LOA community when I came too dang near committing suicide. I earnestly felt that I was a failure because I just couldn't "get it right" or "stop resisting",etc. Thankfully, Logic slowly began to take hold. I'm actually a relatively smart man, but I'm easily "hooked" into the dream that these "gurus" are selling. Thank GOD that in the last couple years I've realized just how wealthy I already AM; just how content I already AM. A few years ago I came THAT CLOSE to getting on the Dan Lok bandwagon. You're right, James: These guys are nothing more than cult leaders! I appreciate your measured presentation and you've got a new sub! Well done, man!

I got out of a new age Guru cult thanks to James Jani's documentaries, so I continue to support his work and all those that accidentally stumble across it and start to question what you they are doing. I know the process is very painful and difficult and the shame that comes with the realization might be too much to handle, but always think critically! It saves you from much more pain later on. You may know what you’re interested in, but you don’t know what it’s like to spend all your working hours doing that thing. Take at least a year to find out what working full time is like before you decide what you’ll be doing with that time for the rest of your life.
