  11. I'm hopeful people listen to this and do as you suggest (or come to this conclusion somehow even if they dont listen to you). But I already know how people are. That money is already going towards a new car or smartphone or shoes... Kinda wish my wife and I were less responsible and hadn't paid off our student loans yet 🤔. The thought of having that extra cash "forgiven" and redirected into more investments seems good right about now.

Sri Lankan here, tomorrow the president is set to officially resign , the inflation rate is "officially" 50% but economists predict its 100+ , technically goods are 4x higher than the previous year, you have to park you car for 4-5 days average to get fuel but now it's close to a week + , businesses are closing and spending has gone down basically creating an economic snowball effect with layoffs and collapses set to go on overdrive by August. Likewise there is a severe lack of food items and you lose power for a few hours for now. We are probably following Lebanon and Argentina
