  9. There is also something called a backdoor IRA. If you make over a certain amount you can't got directly to a Roth IRA. Single or married i forgot how much it is. You have to first Invest in a Traditional IRA then convert it to a Roth IRA. They allow up to 6k each year. Make sure you tell them don't withhold any taxes because you already paid taxes on that money. The beginning of the year i put 6k in Traditional then Jan 3rd i convert. That way you get the full year of the market. Time in the market is proven to win over timing the market. Jaspreet my way of thinking is because of you . Thank you.

  27. Love that you pointed out how much the government has been propping up this stock market with trillions of dollars, because we think that is really important. We're worried about how unsustainable that is and might just be a band aid on a gaping wound. Especially considering how billionaires have become richer and richer while so many regular people are taking pay cuts, less hours, furloughs, and lay offs.

  28. Well said. I know a lot of people that are house-poor. Spent too much money on a big place they can't even afford to furnish. I have a smallish home (and honestly it's still bigger than I need at 1100 sq ft) & I have housemates to help me split costs. That doesn't even count the time investment you put into maintaining a property (cleaning, yardwork, etc). Will sell and get a smaller place in a decade or so.
