  2. The difference in your demeanor from your first video (which I only just watched 30 mins ago) is huge. More upbeat more hopeful, honestly stick to that 30 day challenge and you never know what the YouTube algorithm might do for you!

  3. My friend took his own life recently, I knew he struggled but never thought he’d ever do this. I’ve struggled massively with my mental health too, asking for help, talking to people saves lives. I’m extremely lucky to have great friends and family that I can be incredibly open with. I really feel for those who don’t. Behavioural therapy really helped me, worth thinking about. Our burdens get easier to carry if we share them.

  5. Some thoughts: 1. UK National Assets should remain in Public Ownership. 2. The Ultra Wealthy (£10M+ Net Worth) need to pay more. 3. Entrepreneurs & the Middle Class need their taxes dropped to encourage growth. 4. The Big ‘G’ Government need to become small ‘g’ government. They have to reduce waste in the public sector. Way too many people doing rubbish no-point jobs. 5. Minimum wage is not a good thing. It breeds lack of result and output. Reduce government regulation on employers paying employees and let pay be based on results 6. It is not racist to state the UK needs proper immigration control.

  15. Messaging you here all the way from Vietnam, Kirky. I saw all this coming and left the U.K. in 2017. Best decision I ever made. Keep at it mate, you have cracked the code. You just have to “do it”, whatever it is, and the rest will take care of itself. Just get off the treadmill and start doing things for yourself. You’re not a failure mate - in a few years, you’ll be a shining example to your kids. Good luck with it all.

  16. I was in your position a few years ago, I looked at my family and wished that I could do more for them. It lit the spark to take action, and I started by trying the things that I wanted to do, I started a YouTube channel and streaming. It didn't go anywhere for me, but then I kept trying. Now I'm back in education making a career change happen, my level 3 apprenticeship done and now working on level 4. Let your family be the spark that lights the fire of motivation. And don't stop trying. One step in the right direction is better than standing still in a place you already know that you don't want to be.

Saw your first vid and i totally feel for you, tough for so many at the moment, especially when you have a family, i'm 4 years older but no kids thank god, i'd get out of this country in a heartbeat if i could, i know there are plenty more worse off but lets be honest, this country is a depressing place to be unless you are one of those getting lots of freebies. Hope things get better for you and your family, just keep aiming higher pal. I'm a new sub so will listen to what you have to say, don't though get disheartened with low view count, hard to make it on YT, early days.

You folks in the UK have it hard and deserve better. It's time to make your own luck, one tiny step at a time. I say this because this is advice I myself wish I'd had and heeded at 45. I made some moves later but it is working. You have time.

  34. I was born in the 70s, grew up in 80s and partied in the 90s. It was one of the best eras to be in. Towns were thriving, pub & clubs were alive with music and dancing and I think everyone was just more free spirited back then. You could go out with £10 ... £1 a pint boom night sorted 😂 I'm still listening to 90s music at nearly 50 years old just can't beat it ! Great little video 👏

The uk is a poor place to live atm, were being over taxed to support the rest of the world. Dont let this world bring you down, find away to make the world around you work for you. As long as your wife and children smile, safe and warm.. thats all you can ask for as a dad

  40. Hey Kirky. Happy to see the growth of your channel. I don’t know you but I feel like you deserve this. I have the same issues you described and also tried to self medicate myself with alcohol. It worked for sometime but in the end it brings 10x stress and problems. I think it’s a good idea to have a channel like this. It’s a therapy for you and those who watching. So keep it going and good luck bro.

  43. Today my son did something amazing, I wont say what it was but basically he put in the work and did something challenging. The main response from everyone is that it has cheered them up. When people make a big effort I think it inspires others. Good to see you are getting views.👍🏻

  44. My best friend who is 43 is currently in hospital due to end-stage heart failure and it's one of the hardest times in my life right now along with so many other issues going on. It's a real struggle just waking up each morning.

  47. Hey Kirky I was in that situation a few years back and made a major change in my life. I quit drinking and smoking which were my outlet at the time and life went a little sideways. When I gave myself over to Jesus Christ my entire life just leveled out and I found a purpose in life. Best decision I ever made.
