  3. As someone who has never even been behind the wheel of a manual transmission car, this was extremely easy to understand and follow along. The multiple camera POVs really helps. Having been spoiled with a life of automatic transmissions, driving a manual seems a bit complicated and frustrating, but then I think about some of the types of people I know or have seen driving manuals 😅 Then I realize if they can freakin do it I could definitely do it😂

  9. I gave the German method of driving a shot earlier this week up and down the Mass Pike, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much safer I felt on the highways! Not to mention how efficiently I was moving through traffic! We really need to teach people that this is the most optimal way to drive.

  15. The MurciĂ©lago is the first supercar I remember seeing in public. I didn’t even know what it was at the time since it was 2002 and I was about 4, but it still struck me how insane it looked on the road. It was bright orange and the owner had that look of a person that knows EXACTLY how cool their car was. Cars like these are core memories for kids.

  22. I once got out of a ticket when the cop had clocked me at about 95 mph... this is after slowing down. When he came to my window, my son, who was about 6 years old at the time, greeted him from the back seat with such excitement that the cop let me off with a warning. lol

 got me a scaled model Countach . We were not a family of substantial means, so I was so damn excited to see it and show it to all my friends. I didn’t know this until recently, but my mom (who is currently battling stage 4 breast cancer) actually kept all of my and my brothers’ old handwritten Christmas lists, which she showed me on Christmas Eve this year. The first one that had the Countach on it was 1985. The way I spelled Lamborghini was
 well, very incorrect. I didn’t get one that year, much to my chagrin, so I thought maybe Santa didn’t get me one because (as my father pointed out) I spelled it wrong. Starting the next year in ‘86 I spelled it properly until finally, in 1988, I got that model when I was 10. My mom kept that model, too. She is 73 and her dream car was a 1967 Karmann-Ghia. Well, I have been lucky enough to be significantly more financially blessed than my parents were, so I bought her a fully restored one last year for Christmas. Her goal is to get better by summer so she can drive it again.

  44. Haha, I felt "called out" during the overshifting portion, lol. I'm always shifting unnecessarily between 2,3,&4 on a backroad for the fun of it. There's something about banging off a couple of perfectly timed heal toe downshifts while trail braking towards an apex that makes me feel like a mini driving God, lol.
