While I do think this video is alright, I'd prefer it if you also made it clear that research on factors of human intelligence, such as the g factor, have a history rooted pretty deep in eugenics. Politics is inseparable from reality and obscuring the parts of that which are relevant to the topic can cause more harm than 'separating politics from science' might initially seem to. Cheers!

Really high quality video great job <3

Excelente conteúdo 👌

Been following you since the second video, they are really well made and get better each time. The topics are also quite interesting. Keep up the work!

Great video! Although I don't know how well your channel name fits, this is more like a well made informational video than something to meme about

The book is called "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell . It is worth reading.

This was a great video. I have a few criticisms though. 1. You should have combined the duplicates. A top ten list where 7 items are flour isn't doing it's job. 2. I'm not sure any given food item needs to have all three qualities - generally you must cook with oil, which provides you with fat. So it would have been good to include, say, canola oil.

We need more youtuber like this

Love these videos! So interesting and well done. You're going to be huge! Keep going bro!

Really glad I am subscribed, the quality of your videos is astonishing! You motivated me to actually read Balmford et al., 2020.

I liked your video and was nice made, but i will add one thing the problem with plant based proteins is the proteins that are coming from plants are not so good absorbed by the body, the best example is gluten proteins that comes from flour if you eat 100g of gluten protein your body will absorb only 54g, for beans is a little better is somewhere 80% of the protein your body can absorb, in my opinion the best option for plant based proteins is tofu or legumes, o try yo not eat so much meat and the solution for my is Beans and eggs to have my proteins.

We need more of these Videos!

Good Video, but at 3:06 you labeled the German capital Berlin as Hamburg, another big city in Germany.

Enters like He's the most extroverted guy on the planet Narrator: "He's friends with 6 people!"

This video was very approachable to me and was clear and concise in the explanation. It took one thing at a time, and added on top. Very nice work. Subbed!

I have some doubts about the dutch paper, specifically because it presents year repeats as an example of failure for younger students. However, isn't a year repeat actually a potential solution for the RAE in schools, rather than a symptom? It's the same as saying "look at all those people with covid! All of them are wearing masks!". That's not a symptom of covid, that's a solution to the problem. I think year repeats fall in that same category. Not saying "RAE is fake", but I think it misinterprets the reality a little. At least for the education section.

The sponsor was actually genius the way you put it in, I can tell when a ad read is coming up but I didn't get suspicious until you said "aboard"

I laughed out loud when the popular guy walked into the room, that was fantastic! btw, at 3:07 that red dot isn't Hamburg but Berlin)

I think there is an error at 6:01, shouldn't the right function be f(x) = 14%?

Thank you for this. Amazing work

Boas em Portugal o cut off é em Setembro. Por norma miudos com 5 anos não entram no primeiro ano e portanto muitos pais colocam os filhos nos privados que aceitam até 31 de dezembro.

I don’t agree with your Resolution, neither how you portrayed some stuff in a certain way, but I do like the fact that you did your best to stay factual.

I can't believe you tricked me into learning math against my will. Liked

Great video Man, just a quick question; how do you find topics like these? And how do you research them?

I was waiting for this video. It turned out great. Also, fascinating topic. Thank you!

Yay i'm in the video :) also, a very informative video as always

I generally totally agree with the message, but at 6:40 its a HUGE difference, wheather 50% of likes go to 10% or 15% of male users. Im not a mathematician in the slightest, but with some try and error I flattened the curve so that it matched the real data from Hinge and found the term x^3.5 - 0.41x^4. I think the main problem with the original solution is that 100% attractiveness absolutely guarantees a like. In reality there are always preferences that might cause a left swipe. My term for example assumes about 60% like rate for a 100% attractive user. To be fair that does seem low, but i couldnt seem to get it much higher without compromising the other values or adding a third factor, so the answer is probably somewhere in the middle. With data about the like rates for the the top 1% profiles this could be refined drastically. This would also apply for the womens graph, but knowing the internet, I suspect the effect will be minor, and 100% attractiveness would probably result in over 90% like rate. This is all just speculation. It would be very useful if such data got published anonymously by the developers.

Its so cool seeing the avatar/my result in the video. Thanks for another neat thing to watch!
