Thank you for not keeping silent about history no matter how brutal. Wish the U.S. education system would follow the same.

@ADayInHistoryOfficial idk if this will ever get seen and I’m not scrolling through a hundred something replies to check if someone has said it, but thanks for changing the title, truly appreciated recognizing what’s happened for what it was, a genocide

A Day In History, could you try and clean up of some of these comments? Many are just plain racist its disgusting and I'm sure that's not the message you are trying to spread

A few years ago, a man was walking along a beach in the Netherlands and found what turned out to be a Neanderthal spear point. He gave it to the museum and their scientists noticed the base of the point was covered in a black tar-like substance. After analysis, it was found to be a tar derived from Birch oil which was extracted from the bark of the tree. After experiments were carried out, the scientists determined that the bark needed to be cooked at around 400 degrees Celsius to extract the oil from it. This discovery, along with fragments of Iron Pyrites found at some Neanderthal sites suggests they certainly did make fire as and when they needed to. All the best and keep up the good work mate!

Perhaps you should make it clear that not all the footage in this presentation is historical, but some is taken from a commercial film. I am thinking especially of the end, showing American soldiers and actors pretending to be inmates.

Stop comparing. Don't discount someone else's misery just because you feel another is worse than the other. We ALL had our own fair share of misery including these people who been through hell while being on earth

You can read the Animal Farm, which Orwell, a guy who fought in the Spanish civil war, a decided Leftist, wrote about the West. A Tomb for Boris Davidovich, will give you a historical perspective on totalitarianism, and moral torture, in All its wonderful colors, across the spectrum.

modern historians are claiming he may not have been mad. Just that he despised the senate, and his actions were to mess with them and keep them in fear by behaving unpredictable.

"Unspeakable", yet... here you speak. I truly enjoy the irony of it all.
