  5. That gentleman reminds me of my late maternal grandfather. He was the hardest working man I've ever known and had scars on his face, misshapen fingers from being broken and never set. Also missing the left index finger and his left leg was shorter than the other. You'd never know because he adjusted his shoe. Believe it or not he'd never tell you the why's or wherefore. Lived to 93 years old and still chopped wood every winter.❤

  8. Ikkousha have a branch in my hometown, Sao Paulo in Brazil. I was wondering why my bowl of ramen was a little foamy, at the time I thought that this was some sort of imperfection but turns out that this is a signature of the soup from this shop, I just learned that watching this video, thanks!

I would love to try each one of your dishes as they look and appear so tasty but It may be hard to find your menu in the middle of North Dakota, USA.   18. Wow I am so amazed by this chef and his wife/sous chef. I have to eat here before I die! I am in awe on how he just loves doing this mostly for his customers but where are his kids?? They should be helping him and their mother….. they have a gold mine to inherit if they work closely with their father and mother!!! I wish I had them as my parents to learn everything they know about Japanese cuisine and then take that place over and enjoy life. Absolutely beautiful what you guys do. God bless. Amazing

  28. If you observe closely, you'll notice there are no visibly obese children in the video. In Japan, people predominantly consume whole foods, with processed items being relatively rare. Even their vending machine Cokle are exceptionally expensive - I wonder if that's intentional to discourage purchases.

  31. I love food stall culture. I'm American b uh t grew up in Singapore and now live in Hanoi vietnam as my wife is Vietnamese. So I'm very used to it, and I really wish it could come to the US more. The US really needs it, not just for the food but for the vibe it brings

  35. That has to be one of the most professional street vendors I have ever seen. Very efficient too. I doubt I would be drinking gin, early in the morning, with coffee and pastries. But, I've never tried it either. Maybe there is something to it.

  50. Japan is such an amazing place to visit with such wonderful food and heritage. I am glad he has the Nepalese guy to help him, I have had Nepalese people help me in my business before and they are such hard diligent workers.
