I am going to see if I can get a few 3D printed for use in water pumps. Efficiency is critical when working off the grid. Cheers

On the shoulders of Giants, nothing was created, only they realized by taking two existing technologies and focusing them into one, they were able to combine them to make something solve a problem. Good for them! I hope this is a step int the right direction for mankind and our Planet! Thanks Ziroth, I really enjoy your videos.

@korus7670 We don't intend to strike a video because it uses 5 Seconds of one of our clips. Credit would be appreciated however - thanks guys.

Great video! You deserve more subs!

Yes we can capture all the heat, and no we're not turning that heat back into electricity! Industry requires hot air or steam for many processes, most of which use natural gas today. Rondo eliminates scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions and there are no NOx SOx or particulate emissions.

Good Video. Like your thinking out the thrust vs weight to determine if this is any where in the range of feasibility. Haven't checked your numbers and process but the logic is clear. Additional critique of the original study: Innovative measurement but no proof of calibration in the paper. Device could be producing more thrust per power (or less). Something tells me it is not far off. Good opportunity to add to what the authors have started. Also, the shape of the tube and other adjustments may add efficiency, another opportunity to add value.

Like everything else we've ever used, it's only waste until it becomes financially viable to re use it. Right now there are huge stockpiles of Thorium being treated as waste. Research by many companies is well under way on how to use this to bolster Uranium reserves and to use up existing nuclear waste as fuel. It's not a waste facility. It's a resource storage facility.

bro ur gonna hit 100K soon luv ur work ..............................................................................

One of the best information channals i know of without diving too deep into the topic.

This is so cool - can't wait til we're all zooming around with these

@ZirothTech so a single piece two blade rotor to be precise
14
Given most places like Kiribait are close to ocean level, the average humidity of the air is high... so I'm surprised they're not looking at atmospheric water capture... No need for brine disposal, direct clean water etc... Might be a good area to read up, @Ziroth

Would be nice to see a toroidal-bionical propeller eficiency test results!

Excellent video

Question: if this design is so good then why won't the Brits invest in it themselves?
14
First time I've seen your channel. Thank you so much for not being a TTS spam account. Liked. Subscribed. Commented. You deserve more attention than they do
14
Amazing content as always, thank you
13
This sounds like such a promising technology!! And amazing video as always
13
this could be huge, hope it works in mass production
13
@ZirothTech so tell us what does the UK produce nowadays as compared to the factory of the world? comparing an apple to a raisin to justify your point doesn't make any sense....
13
its new to most people though. i think its fine

Dead end: The energy required to produce the gamma beam will exceed the energy produced and converted into electricity from fusion.

This is a great idea! I've lived near and driven alongside many miles of these canals and can say that almost none of them are picturesque, so their appearance couldn't be harmed by the addition of solar panels.
12
Congratulations on starting your PHD! Your channel produces great content - you're going to do great!!

Hi, I am from the future....I recently travelled from Earth to Mars and back using the power of a single AAA battery. I copped a lot of flak for being wasteful from my peers who can travel to alpha centauri and back 13 times on a single AAA battery

Their problem wasn't that they didn't have enough light, but that they are waaaaaaaaaaay too bright and damaging to eyes. Leaving a blinding afterglow in the form of stripes and arrays of dots. People with astigmatism literally can't go on the streets safely anymore. The orange sodium glow is less visible so it's also less hindering to people with astigmatism, but white and blue leds will overlay an opaque layer over everything. Oncoming traffic sometimes forces me to just stop because I can't see anything. Glasses don't help against astigmatism either, it requires risky surgery.

I need a few of these. I need them for medevacs for Puerto Rico. The roads are often impassable after heavy rains. I could go from the campo to the local ER. the ride by van might injure the patient more

Another thing that is important is long term storage. Like for solar, you have a huge amount of energy generated in the summer but not as much in the winter. Lithium-ion batteries could have a hard time holding their charge over an entire winter. But with gravity storage, they should have no problem keeping their “charge” or potential energy over these longer time periods.

Sounds easy, sounds like a great idea, but geothermal plants are nothing new. Financially speaking, most only produce a very small amount of energy. One major cost hurdle is corrosion. There are some pretty caustic chemicals trapped in the Earth's crust. I have many geothermal plants around me (closest is less than 1 mile). I've seen expensive and exotic pipe material get eaten away by corrosion in a matter of a couple months. I congratulate on a nice presentation, but you have to take much more into consideration. There are theories and there is real life senarios.

Really cool use of reinforcement learning! Thanks for another great video :)
11
Perhaps these devices could also help with storm surges? Very interesting video!
11
I like your approach by the general background instead of jumping on the "disruptive sensation" train, well explained and simplified, but still widely correct.
11
Very interesting and I think the rollers can be made to be reasonably durable as the change of direction would not be as severe as that of a crank because of the geometry which might reduce the shock enough so that ceramic bearings could be used.

If there's a way to mitigate or eliminate the production of nitrous oxide, this could be a viable option. But as things stand at the moment, fuel cell propellers might be better suited for short haul flights. Nitrous oxide is 300 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than CO2 and is also toxic to humans. I'm interested to see how one might eliminate NOx from the combustion process.

3:10 more energy => higher frequency => shorter wavelength

I'm on a solo trip to Japan and literally wondered about it today. Didn't search nor talk about it with anyone. It's scary how the algorithms seem to read our minds.

And a electrical generating fusion power plant is still 20 years away,,,,,,and always will be. Thanks for this level headed video.

Excellent presentation and content! 😀

There is nowhere else that I ear about incredible technologies like that. Thx for that 👍🏻

Nice job and good catch with the supercharger. Seems there was another company with transparency issues and questionable marketing, bringing people to view the Titanic, too.

At first I thought it was real and I was very excited, then I realized today is April 1st so this is probably an April Fools prank, and now after watching this I don’t have a clue about if the future is in matrices or if the surface is where we stay. Science. Jokes aside, really cool discovery you talked about here. Wonder how this research will be used in future applications now that we are becoming more aware of the necessity for clean, safe, and long-term solutions our energy consumption intra-planet and even maybe one day inter-planet.

Nice video :) How about creating a Twitter account to promote your channel? It's my preferred medium for sharing/archiving good YouTube content.

5:38 your demonstration of the principle of work and a machine was excellently brillig!

It's quite an interesting car that show us the importance of computer assisted design and improvement through technolgy advances, maybe the numbers barely make it right now but imagine in 5 to 10 years, this could be the form factor of the future. Great content man! Love the style and the themes, keep it up!

Incredible content & quality as always!

Never thought of this, very interesting. And absolutely amazing job on the video mate!

Nice video!

In one of their FAQ sections, Aptera said that they used "NREL" ( National Renewable Energy Laboratory) data, when creating the solar production calculator on their website.
9
That was great, thanks!

Good analysis. In most cases it would be better to build big wind farms with big efficient wind turbines than small scattered inefficient turbines on individual roofs.
