  9. Loved the video. Her story is really inspiring and she keeps it real. I'm 3 years sober from alcohol now and I wish I could say (like other people do) that I don't want it anymore, but that's a total lie. Lately I think about it a lot and it's a daily battle of reminding myself of the why and standing my ground. I try to watch videos like these to help me through. Thank you for this and thank you to Katrina for sharing her story ❤

  15. I hope she's able to find a purpose. Purpose makes us feel needed/wanted. It's important for the human psyche. That's why so many empty nest Mothers start charity work, have animals to nurture etc.. I hope in the long run she has a purposeful awesome life.

  16. Dear Eric, Jesse/CG/Sije clearly trusts you despite her social anxiety. Please keep track of her and gently encourage her to get professional help. I imagine it scares her to be in a group situation which many of these programs are so the smaller the better for her. Also, find one that has animals incorporated into the therapy. Hopefully there will be enough donations to get her help!

  22. I know about the situation of your mom being the only positive factor in your life - and at the same time being the one who prevents you from leaving the misery. It's very difficult to overcome that trauma. I'd like to thank Chris for being so honest. And thank the interviewer for having a conversation and not an interview.

  29. Let me tell you that you are doing a wonderful job showing the other side of life. Believe me, thanks to your videos there will be people who will help these poor souls realize the way to the light and get rid of drugs. Just do what you do, especially if you feel a mission in it. An invisible force will provide help in the implementation of your plans from nowhere. You will be surprised🙏

There’s people here from all around the world that communicated their willingness to help in some way and people can contribute all sorts of resources to help someone like CG. She clearly has boundless potential that could overcome her lackings if she “Leap of Faiths” into recovery which I’m sure would seem daunting and utterly frightful for her. I don’t have the time or financial resources to do much but I will be emailing you to see. Your elegant and eloquent responses to the comments and questions here is probably what impressed me most. Life is HARD for your “typical, normal, everyday person” which I guess that’s what I would consider myself but I also consider myself compassionate so I hope all your (and the collective) efforts, energy and time gains massive momentum! We ALL need a Massive Momentum of broadscale goodness and kindness that begins with ourselves and extends to however many others around and within our sphere of influence and affection.

  41. After being on the streets for a while, one of the hardest things to deal with besides addiction must be adjusting to life under a roof again. The trauma of not having basic needs, over and over, is deeply scarring just on its own, letting down your guard and getting comfortable with just being physically comfortable must be a struggle all of its own. Hang in there Sije, take advantage of the housing help, and be kind to yourself.

I wish I had money to donate but at this time I am taking care of my own family that are living with me. Everyone has a story, everyone is struggling with something.
