  13. Giving wild animals who can't sweat ice water is not kind... it's a disservice. The best water you can give a wild animal is clean room temperature/warm water, which will not requite their body to cool in order to absorb. Warming water inside your body consumes huge amounts of energy. You basically made these animals have to work harder to get hydrated, and now they'll need to eat again soon in order to replenish their energy levels to hunt or forage. Good job Mr. Good Samaritan.

  37. Rattlesnakes don't scare me, mostly because they're not shy about telling you they're there and they don't want to waste venom on something they can't eat lol. They're also kinda cute when they're drinking like this, ngl. The snakes I do fear are the "bite first, ask questions later" venomous snakes from everywhere else in the world.
