Rattlesnakes get a terrible rap. No other snake that I know of does more to try and tell us to, "please leave me alone, I am here".

Ahhh that water must taste so good! So kind of you! β€ Are you in AZ? I just moved from Scottsdale back to MI. Iβm a new subscriber!
2
Nice gesture, the bird will have a source of water elsewhere or it would not last 48 hours in that environment.
2
If you put your face in that hole, the snake will give you a thank you kiss.
2
Β @inthedesertwithchris6260Β Wow, I had no idea. Yes, would love to see it. Thanks for the videos Chris!
2
Yes, birds can smell water. Nuff Said
2
So funny and cute. You can tell they are pups, as the one fox gets distracted by a bee/fly buzzing by and fox tries to bite at it. HAHA Sweet gesture by you to leave the iceberg and water for the foxes.
2
What a kind thing to do. Well done π

@inthedesertwithchris6260Β 1. Thanks so much for helping the desert creatures and educating people. 2. Thanks for the info about baby rattlers - you make very good points. Still, I would never take that chance! π 3. I did see the video about that very unusually marked snake. I could tell you were passionate about finding it! 4. When I was much younger, I had an older brother who had a boa. He had several cages of mice that he kept to feed said boa. At feeding time, he would take out a mouse by the tail and hit its head against the wall just before feeding it to the snake, for the very reason you spoke about. Take care of yourself! π

βΒ @inthedesertwithchris6260Β I'm still wondering if that long nose was some kind of Hybrid. Maybe you'll be fortunate enough to meet up with it a 3rd time. π€π»
