  4. I'm very curious, if you don't mind testing (since you will have the vehicle for long term), could you see the minimum battery range? They say 150mi per charge, assuming that's if you are driving the vehicle sensably and not using all the electronics on max all the time. I'm curious what the full spectrum of use could be. From heavy accessory use (lights, AC, radio, etc), to heavy acceleration, etc.......to daily driving the vehicle.......to very light throttle, no accessories, etc. Heavy user/hot rodding, to hypermiling, if you will. I'm very curious what the range of, well, range lol, this leaf has.

  23. Jason, It is great that you show the math behind all of the engineering concepts you discuss. Performing math and logic was always a bit of a struggle for me. However, when I see you use it, it seems a lot less intimidating and it makes me want to use it more.

  24. I completely agree with the CVTs with simulated gears. It boggles my mind why they thought it was a good idea. Any product (cars & transmissions included) should simply try to be the best version of itself, not imitating something it's not. People complain because it doesn't behave the way they're used to, but there's always an adjustment period with anything new. I'd argue a smooth and quiet CVT & motor would be preferable to unrefined automatics.

  40. My question is does the navigation system know the exterior temperature so it gives you a proper battery range when you reach your next supercharger. If it does not take temperature into account i would be worried it may want to bring you to a supercharger you can get to during the summer but might not make it to during very cold weather.

  44. My car was delivered to me 2 days ago. Same color and wheel package as yours. Mine went to the dealer first. They prepped it before they drove it to me with 24 miles on it. I have no orange peel that I can see. In fact, the paint is flawless and beautiful. I have not taken a caliper to the car but the gaps seem to be well lined up and no micro scratches. I have an RWD long range 3 one of the last ones. You have a mid-range 3 one of the first ones.
