Gonna buy a Tesla since it's perfect for Supra enthusiasts..... 😂
51
Looks like you had a lot of fun at the Porsche Camp! 😂
51
It's a joke, that's the point!

Great video Jason! Michelin definitely seems to be at the top of the tire industry right now. It must have been a blast to test them out.
50
Nice video and information mate. Good stuff!
50
Expensive Tesla vs one bumpy boi Meanwhile my little economy car keeps running forever over every pothole
50
I think between 15 and 65

By the time this series is finished, we'll be all design engineers. Mighty video as usual and not short on detail.
50
Ford and GM created a 10 speed together
50
This was a very very nice and detailed video on a topic that most of us take for granted. It was quite a pleasure to discover the ACTUAL benefits of a rear engined vehicle. Great job.
50
You are really good at explaining!
50
Jason, I know that road. I was not aware they closed it for car testing. :) Maybe you would like to test my 2004 NSX up that road?
50
No fanboy nonsense. Straight to the point with numbers. Great video!
50
@EngineeringExplained Are you saying that a Honda CRV isn't a burnout style car?
50
Very cool experiment! I would've never thought of it. You're one of the few car people making this kind of videos so really glad you're always implementing new ideas. Please make a video testing different transmissions that way, CVT/manual/DCT/auto with paddles/etc, that'd be pretty cool! And if there's higher frequency logging systems that would be cool as well.
50
Awesome content, I like how you are going into the technical aspects of cars and their inner workings. Also the additional links you provide to such special topics, as this one, are incredibly interesting. Keep it up!!
50
I love engineering but I've always been intimidated and your explanations takes all the intimidation out of the way. Awesome video.
50
6:55 I love how you laughed after saying "I wish it was affordable" and then go "It's not!". Had me dead😂😂😂 The f-type is really one of my top 5 cars to ever own. Thank you for the great video👍🏼
49
Yes, in one the engine turns fast because the wheels turn fast, because the wheels are connected to the ground AND connected to the transmission/engine, in the other the engine is not connected to the transmission so it's consuming fuel.
49
Hmm I need something that looks like a radio mic…. Oh perfect, a filter for a 3M respiratory mask and a curly cord. Lol love it.
49
That is awesome! Congratulations on reaching 2M subscribers and buying a Model 3.
49
7:15 Since when was there a Mrs. Explained/How does an Engineer initiate female contact? Asking for a friend.
49
Am not an engineer but this is a fascinating presentation. Thank you.
49
Of course it is, everybody loves pizza. Pizza is round, pizza is flat.
49
Nobody does the nerdy in-depth coverage better than you. Nobody. As a bonus, you're actually energetic and entertaining, which is greatly appreciated. I love these in-depth videos. Happy holidays to you.
49
When you were first stood in front of that white board with the fuzzy camera and terrible mic, did you ever think you'd get to the point of hooning around in a car like that for a living? Good on you. Keep up the good work. I've seen a lot of reviews of that car and none have made me want one like you making a luddite like me understand about the oil system 😂
49
0:58 Better than Thanos
49
It's sometimes the basic stuff that we always tend to forget to check. I have been following all of your videos and it's such a joy to see you sharing such immense knowledge you have with everyone. Much love to you brother, all the way from India ❤️
49
Another amazing video, keep them coming!
49
What's funny is as soon as he finished that sentence my youtube app crashed and I simply, audibly said "cap" Because we all know 500 is light work for Jason!
49
I have the long range RWD 3. You can tell there is some limiting at low speeds. The acceleration is insane. It is like warp speed in regular driving. I can’t see any practical need for the car to be any faster. Every last one of your points are valid. Especially not being able to defeat the traction control.
49
I love how your adrenalin induced reactions always prove you are a real engineer. :-). Keep up the good work!
49
Don't get used to that treatment. You'll soon be another ticket for that police.
49
Being from Texas, I still have a hard time with the physics of driving on a frozen lake.
49
Haha I noticed to put a mirror on your shelves to avoid crashing your honda again! Good idea.
49
Professor Camisa is a legend! Love this collab!
49
Great explanation. This is exactly why I came to read through the comments! 🙂
49
That Porsche in the background <3
49
Great first video of this series. “Jerk”, never heard that term but that’s exactly what is awesome about my LEAF. Quick response to my pedal. It’s one of the things that I absolutely LOVE about driving an EV.
49
I think it's a sedan ;)
49
Notification Squad, Who up
