  8. Love it. Bought in 2019. Quality of build by @Morrish homes is excellent. Only some 500 homes out of a potential 4000 have been built so a long term project. Picking up on some of the comments tree planting on all homes is a feature with fruit trees in communal areas for all to share from apples and pears. Properties have purpose built nesting holes for birds and bees. Good communal spaces and next phase will see playing fields for older children, major road access with large supermarket , bar / restaurants and Independent shops.Residences also have protected SANG nature area across from the school to enjoy. Properties all come with allocated parking and / or garaging but too many residents opt for garaging and then use it for a store and then moan they havenโ€™t got enough parking space. ๐Ÿค” Key for the development will be how it expands and communal areas adequately maintained by the Management Company.

  18. The old boy is spot on the Cornish people need a voice the calls and questions are totally ignored. Yes we Cornwall rely on tourism we canโ€™t deny that but not at the expense of housing for the local people. Until houses apartments cottages are changed to stop Any new second home owners especially from London nothing will change. There needs to be a change in how easy it is to buy and let a holiday home. Mousehole is so beautiful but is already resembling a ghost town past 8pm. St ives to me has lost its sole which is such a shame ๐Ÿ˜ข

  34. Outstanding video. Very educational and moving, it would be great if this video could be shown in schools and colleges all over Britain and Ireland. Wonderful that Wendell, as he does in all his videos, was able to have such frank, honest and respectful conversations with local people who have lived through such a touch period and are now emerging on the other side. Great to see that on the balance, there seems to be far more to be positive about than negative for the future of Northern Ireland - I really hope so. Thanks so much for doing these Wendell - they are priceless.

The beach reminds me of Ventura, California, we have a huge homeless population too, my feeling is they all have a story to tell, and some remind me how quickly they go from losing their job to losing everything within months. Thanks for giving people a voice

  42. In rural Wales we see the same, 40% hungry and surrounded by amazing natural beauty. We are so far even from Cardiff we get nothing. Not even food banks cover this area, as it's "too difficult". So we started our own "not a food bank", funded, run and for local people.

  45. I am Cornish born and bred and in my opinion the best time to see the real Cornwall is in the winter. Most tourists have gone home ( no disrespect to tourists- we need them) and cornwall reverts to its natural self in all its glory.

  46. I had a pint in the Benwell Arms in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was the early 90's and I am expat Englishman from Australia. I was out by myself. So, I thought I would be a tourist and just get a beer and chat to the locals. Well, I have never drunk a beer so fast. No one would speak to me. That night I told me local friends I had been to the pub. You could have heard a pin drop. They were amazed, that I had got out with my skin. I wondered if they were just winding me up. So, the next day I went back to explore the area. Only to find shops windows covered in heavy mesh, burnt out cars in the street. Not a policeman in sight. It was a real eye opener.
