More people should give there money to these people rather than fat corporations like you meantioned. While watching your excellent video i Noticed the lack of plastic wrapping around fruit and veg compared to big companies…which is brilliant.

When i left prison in 2013 I was homless in brighton i was fortunate to have a job to come out too .. but antifreeze was amazing i turned up there scared and confused i left with full military kit trousers jacket sleeping bag and a backpack full of socks and toiletries and most important a full belly ..im doing very well now but if it wasn't for those guys helping me until i got my first months pay theres a very good chance i would still be homless now

  17. Really interesting! The first seconds I thought you were in Appledore because of the pastel coloured houses, but then it looked too new. And it was 🙂 Interesting project, and it looks actually pretty and well planned. But I fully agree with you about the Truman Show feel, Sim City, film set etc. because everything is so new and unspoilt and there is no litter anywhere and very few people. But that is just now, and it will probably wear a bit and look more "normal" in a few years. And people will move in and have a normal life. I am happy they make the houses look a bit traditional and that they have made alleyways and different kinds of facades. I think this may be a very good project.🙂

It's hard to separate the politics when it is actually political decisions that have put a lot of folk into this sort of position but we should all be prepared to help when we can. The least people can do is cut street folk some slack and not judge them or harass them, as I said in the other video "there but for the grace of god" etc. ✌

  27. Spent a couple of days in Clarksdale last year, and I had one of the best times I ever had. Absolutely great atmosphere in the Blues Clubs there. Great people in the Mississippi Delta

  28. My wifes a deputy manager at a homeless hostel providing ABENS ( a bed every night) and before that she was a mental health nurse untill she was sacked for refusing the jabs. This is a real issue and luckily for my wife she has a new job and is trying her best to make a difference to those less fortunate and suffering even though she has a number of physical issues and anger at her previous treatment. What i will say is Im proud of her.

Great video I work on leicester market and although we dont yet have a clean air charge ,buses have moved to far away stops and parking is non existent,councils want rid of markets ,amazing that our customers continue to visit with all the inconvenience in the way Great content again ,maybe a video on the demise of cash as a payment? We only accept cash and more and more places will not accept this as a payment which generally affects the less affluent

  36. Excellent video. Thanks for outlining these issues. I grew up 20 mins south of Merthyr Tydfil in a town that has identical issues: No industry and a complete and utter lack of opportunity. Having moved around a lot since I left at 22 (including several stints abroad), I've still never felt a stronger sense of community, however. Call it rose tinted glasses, but I believe the Valleys make for one of the prettiest corners of the country, home to a community spirit as beautiful as the mountains in which it lives. And I'd move back in a heartbeat if it was easier to make a decent living there.

  47. Hi Wendall, Been following you. So I'm a Californian with a Brummie husband of 15 years looking to retire in Cornwall with our cash $$ from overpriced home. Appreciate your take on the Cornlife. It's a cakewalk compared to Oakland CA. We have murders and crime unchecked daily We can't call for help, so we have guns at the ready for invaders. Oh I've been through Torquay on a drive through. Looked liked a 60's carnival town. Shame no investors to turn it around.
