I love everything you do Wendall, you will be rewarded for your kindness.

Welcome back to America Wendall

I live in Germany now but my great gran lived in Brum and I remember going to the Bullring as a kid in the sixties.

Excellent chat. Jesus did say, "Take up your cross and follow me", and this is exactly what Lindsey is doing. Doesn't have to be so big, but as God sees everything, he sees the size of your heart and love for God, the Father. He left us with the Holy Spirit, and He is the son of the living God. Jesus also said, "No one can come to the Father, except through me". Great video.

Really impressed with how you approached this video. So good of you to call out the ‘zombie’ tag too. You showed that these are actual humans living within this hellscape and I haven’t seen that in any video I have watched on this area before.

Great video mate, the woman in the cinema was a breath of fresh air!

Oh no I couldn’t do Benidorm now Wendall! I’m nearly 40 but it just isn’t my thing anymore. I’ve done Ibiza and all that many times years gone by but very much the quiet life now. That made me feel a bit anxious. Top video as always ….Smithy

My new favourite youtuber atm. Binged the benidorm eps, and some of the UK ones. Amazing you are expanding like this.

Great video, Loe Bar used to be the mouth of the River Cober which led to a harbour in Helston. However, by 700 years ago the ocean deposited enough sand & shingle in the mouth of the river to create the bar. The river itself became Loe Pool whilst cutting Helston off from the sea.

There’s always hope, I hope😂

Amazing work mate, this is exemplary! I wonder if charity shops out there mightve stretched the money even further. Regardless well done broyher 👍

I came over to your channel from Wandering Turnip, after watching you meet up with him in Scarborough.. This really is an excellent, thought-provoking vlog about Birmingham. Saddened to see how much suffering there is on the streets.. 😢 The way you conducted the interviews was very professional.. but also touching and compassionate.. Great job, Wendall.. you're helping to spread the word about how dire the homelessness situation really is.. 👍🙋🏻♀️

I have travelled to Jaywick many times during lockdown with my Dog as was a key worker, Amazing beaches at Jaywick and a great community spirit, I loved it, just the same as I love Boscombe! I love seeing the real UK.

Fantastic work and what a great man ❤ Jonny is and his kindness ❤

I’m Cornish & proud & I’ve lived in Redruth & the surrounding areas all of my life. Thank you for showing our town in a positive light. Yes there are problems like most places but we really do have a great sense of community. Currently we are redeveloping the Buttermarket which is opening next month, a new food hub transformed from historic buildings. We’ve also got a great Art Deco styled Cinema & we are home to Kresen Kernow which holds 850 years worth of Cornish archives, it is in fact the world’s largest collection! We are mid county so it’s easy to get to Falmouth, Truro etc very easily, especially as we’re on the main train line. So yes, we are sometimes at the receiving end of a lot of local jokes but it’s actually a pretty cool place to live 🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛 thank for the videos Wendall - Claire 🫶

I took a ferry from Corfu to Albania, it took 40 mins and cost 15£ I booked is last min too.

Can’t get enough of these American ones. I’ll be honest and say I’ve been subbed a long time but never really watched much of you but I regret that. You are the goat. More more more. Thank you wendall.
17
Then guys seem to more for the homeless, than the government, and your great self Jonny backing them up, all good xxxxxx

Others may be emulating you Wendall but what they forget is that you are the best..keep up the great videos even if you feel a litte defeated. I always look forward to watching your videos and learing about all these places you visit. I am moving back to the UK after living in Canada for 47 years next year..and these videos help me determin what areas to avoid..so it feels like I have my very own peronsal guide on moving back. Thanks Wendell....brilliant videos,

Stumbled upon your channel the other week and been loving it, like Bald and Bankrupt but dedicated to the UK. Great content as usual.
17
Never thought id see you doi g a video in rochdale!....I've lived in rochdale my whole life...high drug and alcohol problems, asylum seekers, homelessness & poverty and lack of funding to combat any of these issues, ....and yes, the regal moon (spoons) used to be a cinema. I work in Surrey and the difference in how much the councils have to splash is night and day.

In 2005 myself & a mate did an overland trip to the Sahara in his Land Rover. On the way back we had a night out in Benidorm & loved the place. Maybe those slagging the place off need to experience genuinely interesting adventures to other places. Not just go to the Carribbean & sit on a beach for two weeks. Whilst looking down their snobby nose at places like Benidorm.
16
Thanks Wendall keep up the great work

Blow Up Dolls episode

This one was really different from most of the other street videos you have made. Even if people sleep rough, it seems to be easier in Glastonbury. Thank you. Really interesting video 😊

Great vid as per usual Oli. Like you I moved away from Brum to Cornwall three years ago. It’s so very sad to see the decline in both the indoor and outdoor markets. It did bring back loads of memories from when I used to catch the bus into town in the 80’s. The Rag Market was always the place to go to pick up a bargain. Feel so sorry for the traders having their livelihoods taken away from them by poor decisions made by Bham City Council. Your spot on the younger generation now days prefer to click a few buttons on their iPhones and have everything delivered rather than have a good rummage around. I guess the nearest thing we have to a market in Cornwall is good old Trago... 😂 Lovely to see the bullring and the markets, and your right the markets are full of characters unlike the supermarkets.
16
None of this looked that bad at all...if you were shocked by this don't come to London!! Lol ...Nice video and those fish and chips looked amazing ...i'm tempted to visit!
16
Best video yet, keep up the great work!
16
Great to get some insights from places I have only heard about. I remember Torquay as the town of the series "Faulty Towers" and that a lot of young people from Norway used to travel there in the summers to attend summer language school. 😊👍🏻
16
Wow I only started watching couple months ago and watched you ever since. This one was the best one so far like damn Jamaicans are one off my favourite people
16
Thank you, Mr Wendall, and thank you so much for introducing us to Mound Bayou and the wonderful man with so much knowledge of the area. These stories cannot be lost. They are too important.
16
I have some friends live and own a business in Glastonbury. This video sums my friends up perfectly - friendly and unique.
16
I just found your channel today, it's always nice to see people who are helping people! Our world is so crazy, but seeing good hearted people gives me some hope and a smile 😁
16
Glasto is brilliantly weird
16
Absolutely love the Netherlands! Had many good times there. Fantastic place, lovely people.
16
As an avid traveller to Benidorm may i mention the tram that will take you effortlessly and quickly to Alicante or Denia or even places in between. As i've said numerous times 'if you dont like the area your in just walk 5 minutes up the street while in Benidorm and it'll be a completely different vibe'.
16
They used to do a day trip by air from Lands End, avoids sea sickness, get the first ‘post flight’ out and last one back, gives you about 9 hours on the islands... sea can get very rough and ferry seems to take an eternity on the way home... check the weather is settled as little to do if wet!
16
Love your vids mate, very interesting but depressing at the same time, seeing rapid decline of the UK as a whole
16
I'm born, bred and still live in Wolverhampton. I really enjoyed this video Wendall. Well done. I'm loving your content. Keep up the awesome work. All the best for the new year to you and to all.
15
Think this is my Fav Wendall vid, to date, great characters and light humour. Merry Christmas!
15
You need to do Brussels.
15
Another seaside town in decline, so sad. That was so nice of you to buy that man some food and a tipple, that will get him through the day. Thank you for your explore
15
What a nice chap. The world needs more individuals like him. Thanks for sharing👍

Mad respect for you guys man. I can tell by the way the camera cuts before you speak to certain people that you’re always respectful and go up to them and ask if they’re okay to be filmed etc. I was in NYC recently for work (I’m a mid 20s white English guy) the areas I grew up in were pretty rough and I’m very used to being in what you’d call the “bad” areas of London (Tottenham, Brixton, Peckham) but first time I found myself in the “bad” areas of New York (crown heights, Brownsville) it felt DIFFERENT. It’s hard to know how to act. Do you try to blend in and keep your head down ? Or just own that you’re a foreigner and let everyone hear your accent ? The answer is nearly always be yourself no matter where you are. ALWAYS be respectful to the locals but most importantly DO NOT be afraid of telling people that you are not from there and that you don’t know how things work. Ask for help if you need to. You are a guest in their space and you need to respect it. I met some of the most interesting and kind people I’ve ever met in the “worst” parts of New York and LA
15
Amazing place, great video, thanks buddy
15
Hired a car and drove to Daytona, was horrified to see how dull and depressing it was. Ramsay is an inspiration don’t care what anyone says! Really feel for the veteran. P.s ads were crazy on this, don’t think you have much control on that though, just thought I’d feed it back!
15
I visited Scarborough in July by myself, as a stupid American tourist 😂 and had the best time. But as I walked up into the town away from the sea, you could see just how run down the town was. Lots of shut up businesses, trash scattered about, and sketchy looking people. I've lived in Seattle and grew up close to Atlanta so I've seen MUCH worse, but it did surprise me. But overall I loved visiting. It was absolutely beautiful and the castle was amazing. Thanks for making these videos. Really good info.
