  28. Such a touching video with the song of my favorate band, Kiil that man from Shijiazhuang from Wan Nian Qing Nian Lvdian. The song is about the life of a blue collar worker in North China/ Shijiazhuang during the 80s, when the country is transitioning from a planned economy/communisit society to a market oriented economy, where all working classes in the past following blindlessly the command/ state plan, now needs to face market oriented competitions. In 80s/90s, lots workers who failed to adapt to such economic trasition of China commited suiside when their facotries closed up. A perfect road trip song for a journey with "the ppl who run this country". Hope you will enjoy your last several days in Beijing. Thx for sharing the journey of Mr. Chen.

  45. Even though it was briefly, I’m glad you did mention its history of Mesopotamia! People often overlook its rich history and have the negative bias of recent wars. (Even though wars have always waged all over the globe, even in the history books!) If you do get the chance try to visit Kurdistan, Arbil or “ Hawler “ is a wonderful city to visit and will have some of the kindest people you can meet. Keep up the amazing videos man!
