I enjoyed this so much and love that it was inspired by Plank of the Week which I always watch and is the funniest show available at the moment. The Paris Olympic open ceremony and the mocking of the Last Supper. Yes, good choice. Imagine if a certain 'other religion' popular in the UK had been mocked instead of Christianity. All hell would have broken out. I would prefer Kemi stayed put and the Tories fell away so that Reform can win the next election. If the Tories make headway they will split the right wing vote. Merry Christmas everyone.

  15. Nice to listen to sensible debate, that clearly discussed the importance of free speech is to most of the people in the UK. The mainstream media will never hold an open debate on the effects on restrictions on free speech.

  16. The NCF are really good documentary makers, l am excited for the rest of the series my only small, tiny, wee, itsy bitsy complaint would be the weekly release of episodes as l have got used to binge watching.

  33. Your comments about Drakes Drum and the lack of English history taught in schools today struck a real note with me. I am originally from Plymouth born in the 50's. As a child I used to be regularly taken to Drakes' house, Buckland Abbey and have seen his drum many times. At school we were taught the song 'Drakes Drum' as well as smugglers songs! My mother died when I was six and is buried in the church yard where she worshipped, at St Budeaux Parish church where Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh were both married. We used to live across the road! In a prefab built by the German Pow. Plymouth being almost obliterated in the blitz they built prefab estates on fields outside of Plymouth City to accommodate Plymothians who were bombed out. They finally demolished them when I was fourteen In1969! Learning that history has always given me a sense of place in the world which I have travelled extensively and have lived abroad . Thank you so much for being able to point out so well how important our real history is to us as a nation, and also as individual members of this wonderful country

  43. dear anglo-saxons, you have brought it all upon yourselves. The three of your talk like romans in the senate when the barbarians had already crossed the Roman borders. Too late and what happened in the end? the roman empire was taken over by barbarians and it took over 1000 years for Europe to recover. On a much dubious scale, it already happened in the UK. Keep talking do nothing about it, keep moaning about it and still, do nothing about it. :(
