Many, if not most, of those beautiful signs have been replaced by dull rectangular signs. I really miss the old signs.

I probably should have been looking to see my car in all that I-93 gridlock footage. 😂

No. But I’m trying to be a cybersecurity engineer with history degree.

Absolutely loving this series

I take the train in preference due to the variability of the drive. If you leave way before 6 then it's mostly ok but you still hit traffic. Train is pretty predictable and you can reuse the time for work or relaxation. Yes the train could be a lot quicker (electrify it!!!!) and the schedules should be a lot more frequent. The times I take the car are when I need to leave late or need more flexibility in the day.

1) Extend the curfew/last call. 2) give the late night T a chance 3) when summer hits all the students are gone, so you're left with tourists BUT there's so many summer fall activities, winter is a dead zone

THIS was great. I learned quite a few things about the fight for reparations that I never knew before. Thank you SO MUCH. AND, I will continue to listen.

May Rita Hester 's soul rest in peace .

Wishing one of our finest a long life. I have always admired the Tuskegee Airmen and have met a few of them over the years in NYC at the Black Expos - there were always represented there and I would be so happy to engage in conversation and let them know how proud I was of them - I am from a military family.

Excellent doc, brings back memories when I lived there (89-93) and nightmares of driving to Logan to catch a plane somewhere.

What a refreshing take, we need more conversation like this with people who understand the inefficiency of personal vehicles in the city. I think something that also needs to be addressed is the last mile solution in the suburbs. If transit riders are driving to Alewife of their commuter rail stop, we are only moving the problem elsewhere. We need strong methods for door to door non car transit and I think that involves working with local towns to improve bike infrastructure, and bus routes. I hope that the tunnel closure will bring more positive change to transit in the Boston area.

13:05 thank you for posting! It’s chillingly beautiful! Yesterday, when he started singing, I had to stop what I was doing and listen. It’s been a long time, since a song moved me, the way this song does.

Songs that stand out right away are of course Dirty Water and Olde Cape Cod. Plus we must have something from James Taylor, Aerosmith, Boston, J. Geils, the Cars. I'm sure there are a lot of bands I'm forgetting. Finally that one hit wonder Roadrunner from the '70s. "I'm in love with Massachusetts, with the radio on"

I’m teaching online in Kansas, with Native American students around the nation. Learning to record, post, modify material for the past 10 months has been incredibly hard. I’d like this student to know that instructors are aware of the immense variety of technical problems each one can run into, and she is not alone—we’re all going through it, too. YouTube keeps me connected—and has been an invaluable teaching tool.

I live in Lawrence right along their flight path by the merrimack river, literally thousands of them. Been super cool watching them over the years

I have to say I knew a lot less about the big dig as a new Englander born in the mid 80's than I thought I did. There are decades and layers i had no idea about. Loving it so far.
