  1.  @thebr0wnhornet  scotland exports electricity to England and that's not all green but, over the year we produce a little bit more green e then e we use. Capacity is growing fast.

  2.  @Nill757  you mean the one they closed because it didn't meet environmental standards? In Scotland we can build and run profitably, wind farms on land and at sea. Nuke stations, in the 21st century are very expensive and take at least ten years. I think we will stick with wind and we are now into profitable tidal energy.

  23. Certainly cut the amount of natural gas we have to import into UK. So apart from the balance of trade, get jobs and taxes. Lot more infrastructure to go, production, distribution and storage but money is flooding in.
