I believe Facebook does more harm than good, these days. It's so easy to disseminate false information, especially when it captures the imagination of the reader. "Of course! All the pieces fit!" etc...

This is the kind of loyalty that can't be bought.

I believe you don't have to support a flag, or even a movement, to be both tolerant and inclusive of others. No more politicising people's preferences, or background, please.

It’s so sad seeing this happen in the Netherlands and very worrying to see what governments are doing. I understand protests are sometimes co-opted by rioters, but to coin a phrase the BBC used to promote their narrative, I hope the demonstrations remain “mostly peaceful “. 👍

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're sorry to see her go. 🤣
199
I was surprised at the amount in damages, but then I read what Lawrence said. Those kind of slurs do not fly on any side of the political spectrum.
130
...and Tucker "Neville Chamberlain" Carlson declares "peace in our time". 😂
77
It's a podcast, not a newscast. This is trivial and I can't help but think this is just a personal attack. In contrast, the World Health Organisation still insists C19 was caused by a bat. 😂 Priorities, eh?
71
Dozens of actors warned us about Trump's misogyny... Here it is in action. 🤣
68
JW's are peaceful, conscientious objectors. This attack is as bizarre as it is motiveless.
60
Finally, a story that matters.
48
If Sam Neil turns up, those scientists are screwed. 🤣
45
He says "someone pointed a gun at him". There was video evidence to this effect, not just anecdotal. Tears or not, this is self-defence.
43
"Can we fix it?" is a great question, whereas "Do tech companies want us to?" is a redundant question.
40
Can you imagine the shear volume of currywurst they're selling around those clubs?
40
I've always assumed the BBC were very pro-EU. Well done to them for reporting a story that contradicts this stance. Not easy to do. 👍
37
Humza Yousaf resigns, and that's "ALL WHITE!!!" by me 👍
34
"can the same tools that are used to create medicines also be misused to invent poisons". Well, I can think of no instance of this. (for the past three years) 🤣
32
Apparently, common sense is still a thing. Who knew? Great news!! 😀
32
Those poxy moneys!!! 😡
31
Could you imagine other billionaires being this candid about such a difficult acquisition? He has the honesty of someone who (at least in his mind) did the right thing.
27
"says critic"? Says everyone. My dad 83, more coherent than Biden and we dont leave him in charge of the TV remote, never mind a country.
26
This is a divisive topic. Can we stop pretending the trans debate is over and everything as been settled, because, if Tavistock has shown us anything, we've a long way to go.
23
Yeah, actors told us so. 🤣
23
@superpinoi The BBC have their bias and will find stories that support it.
23
Finally, some news!!!
21
I bet the organisers of this particular fad are absolutely insufferable.😂
20
@Hathur if that's the case, there are already laws regarding death threats. What is the point in this law?
20
I think it's important not to panic over this story. If, for whatever reason, there is a nuclear war, most of us will be killed instantly and there'll be no suffering whatsoever. 😨
20
Have the BBC called them "far right", yet? I can't be bothered to watch this midtier reporting to find out.
18
Finally, our exports are back-on-track.
18
It's way too close to call 🤣
17
If cashing-in your crypto requires new investors then it's basically a pyramid scheme. What a shame. It was going to replace actual cash at one point .
16
I believe this announcement to be entirely political and women deserve more than being the pawn of a corporation.
16
The war on drugs is just a war on people.
15
What?
15
There was a time, during the riots of lockdown when we dreamt of a slow news day story such as this. Welcome back.
14
@Scipio-Africannabis He was paid, yes, but that only included "taking three bullets" in principle. When shots were fired, he wasn't thinking of his bonus.
14
@Tabula Rasa It's a book that's full of faces. Sometimes those faces tell lies.
13
I suggest choosing the next PM using voodoo, or using the octopus that predicted world cup results. Either one will be superior to whatever got us Truss.
13
Where was this information a year ago? All those Karens, complaining about those dog walkers without masks.
12
"Canadian chicken... You can really taste the chlorine" 😋
10
Finally, a man of colour is voicing a black character. Hopefully, they'll find some yellow people to play The Simpsons, then the purple-haired prats on Twitter everyone seems pander to will be happy.
9
@jimbo6693 If you want a non-peaceful protest, you’d best make sure you bring overwhelming numbers, cos otherwise it’s rubber bullets, water canons and silence from the media.
9
I don't believe olympic-grade prosthetics to be good use of NHS funds.
9
I'm not surprised. They made my JVC video recorder, and that still works. 👍
9
I can't wait for this! Huge Beatles fan, and I'm looking forward to seeing the tension of the "Let it Be" sessions. I'm sure it's been exaggerated. 😀
8
Honestly, if they're trying to make a corrupt narcissist look like a victim, they're doing a great job.
8
Given how many people had the Oxford vaccine, and these clots seem completely unrelated, this "precaution" seems politically motivated.
8
If ever there was proof that the demand for racism far outstrips the supply... It's this story, right here. 😀
